My overall experience with Urgent Care is ok, but Shana Morton is a horrible PA. She doesn't listen no matter how many times you repeat yourself. I wish Dr. Peace was on duty because she at least hear you out!

Since when do you swab your own nose? And when I ask how far I'm told just barely go in and move around... thought for those test you had to go in further. Then when I complained about my cough keeping me up I was prescribed nausea medication! My nose wasn't even looked!

Went in to urgent care because I was having ear pain thinking I had an infection. Was told it was my psoriasis. Dr said he was sending in a prescription and never was able to pick it up due to pharmacy needing a new alternative. Called the clinic saying that the pharmacy needed a new prescription sent in and they needed to call. Lady was very rude and said the pharmacy needed to call them. Apparently they had been but no answer. So I never got the provided treatment I needed. This is a horrible urgent care.

Dr. Allen was my provider and he was very kind. He was upfront and honest with me, checked on me multiple times, and ordered many tests to try and figure out what was going on. Though the front desk and triage wasn’t very talkative, i had a good experience overall. The nurse who did my EKG was very sweet and professional too. I’m from out of town and this place happened to be the closet urgent care, but if i’m ever in the area again this is where i will go!

Dr Allen and the nurses who assisted me were top notch. Dr Allen is very knowledgeable and great at explaining. I came in with an ongoing allergic reaction that was getting worse. He referred me to an allergist but gave me the appropriate treatment to stop the reactions in the interim. My spouse and I were both very impressed. Also, being a patient in UAB’s system was a plus because this facility had access to my records. I would give 100 stars if I could.
