Setting foot inside the Ultimate Performance gym has been the best decision I have ever made for my health. I’ve had an excellent experience training with Cristian Nuques. It’s been a game changer. He is knowledgeable, attentive, and always fully present during every session. He pays close attention to every move and corrects form with care, which makes a huge difference; this has helped me feel confident training hard without worrying about injury. I am seventy-four and have been a runner most of my life. Before I started Ultimate Performance, I had never done any type of resistance training. I’ve been working with Cristian Nuques for six months and can’t say enough good things about him; he is a true professional. He understands body mechanics and is able to break down each routine into smaller movements so they are easier to understand. One of my goals was to avoid getting injured. He is constantly watching and correcting my body position so that doesn’t happen. He has been instrumental in shaping my diet and the steps that I take every day. Since I started working with him, I’ve lost twenty pounds, my blood pressure is 120/60 and my body fat is 21%. I have been a prosthodontist for forty-four years. We treat more complicated crown and bridge and implant patients. I love what I do and my long term goal is to practice as long as I am physically able. I love UP and Cristian (my trainer there). I went from never having lifted a weight to loving weight lifting in 3 months (currently 4.5 months in but started loving it 3 months in). Cristian has helped me become insanely strong, in a good way. I came to UP with the goal of building muscles and being able to live healthily for a long time - I think we are doing a great job! I also couldn't lift both of my kids (35lbs each) and now I pick them up one in each arm. Cristian also has really helped me develop confidence in the strength that I have. He never pushes exercises too much but he is always challenging me slightly more. He is a terrific coach. I am also constantly sore - which I love! Means I am actually working the muscles.
