I have been to Umami Revolving Sushi more than once and as a matter of fact, this is my fourth time coming here. I came here to celebrate my birthday with my wife and the food is usually very tasty and the waitstaff friendly. I asked for a booth and was told to wait for one. Once seated, the table to include the seats were overly dirty. I ordered the Lady Bug roll which looked immaculate and my wife got the Lava Roll. Once we received the Lady Bug roll it was uncomfortably warm and looked like Albertsons Market quality sushi. The roll was missing a couple ingredients and I was told by waitstaff that they are out of the rice paper. I asked what else they were out of (which was considerably more missing ingredients than I could count on both my hands) and ordered the Son Wukong roll instead. The waitress took my Lady Bug roll back, said I wouldn't be charged. The Lava Roll then came and looked old and liquidy; nothing like the pictures on the ordering tablet. In between all of this, the waitstaff had seemed pretty peeved by the chef as he was supposedly messing up two more tables behind us. By the time my Son Wukong roll came, my wife pushed her plate aside and said she couldn't finish it and mentioned feeling unwell. As of today, she has a minor stomach bug. As for my roll, the Son Wukong roll was also very disappointing. There was a lot more chili crisps on the roll than described and it ultimately turned my stomach as well. We didn't end up finishing and went to pay (even though for food and service of this preposterous nature, I shouldn't have). The waitress at the register was going to charge me for the Lady Bug roll even though she had stated earlier it would be removed from my bill. Despite the horrible food, terrible service, and dastardly atmosphere, I still left a tip because I knew it wasn't ultimately the waitresses fault for the godawful food. As my wife and I got back in our car, she started crying, "I'm sorry your birthday was ruined." Long story short: After multiple great experiences I've had here, I can't say I will ever come back again. I wouldn't even wish this restaurant among my worst enemies.

Awesome place! From the revolving sushi, to the train that delivers food, and the chance to win a prize from just enjoying food! Definitely a fun experience!

My family and I really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. The atmosphere is so uplifting. It's colorful and interactive. When we left I felt like I was in a better mood than when we arrived, and I was already having a good day:) I enjoyed the sushi. It's not the best sushi I've ever had but it was good and it did taste fresh. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Our little one is starting to get into sushi and we figured this would be a neat place to take him. He got to sample a variety of sushi and desserts. We had a lot of fun. The prize machines are awesome! Mango ice cream was delicious. It can get pricey but the food and experience was worth it.
