We stopped in Anchorage on our way to Whittier to catch a cruise ship. Ate at Uncle Joe’s Pizzeria and wow!! Food was awesome! We had meatballs and a calzone and a beer. Fantastic!

We were on a tour and had a free night for dinner. Kids wanted pizza. We ordered custom pizzas and they were amazing! The wait was worth it. No issues finding seats and the drink selection was great! They had many local beers to choose from! We brought our kids and they give it 2 thumbs up.

Superior pizza. I loved the cut. Not sure if it was just a quirk from cutting the pie too quickly, but there was a small piece, medium and large, making it easy to have some now, then, and later. A 10 inch pie made 3 meals for me. The sausage was excellent and there was plenty of cheese. The crust, though. Really good. They also serve by the slice but I recommend the small. There was a decent selection of beer. Loved it.
