Uncommon Objects on South Congress is an absolute must-visit — a sprawling, wonderfully eccentric antique and curiosity shop that perfectly embodies the weird and wonderful spirit of Austin. Every visit is a completely unique adventure, with an ever-changing collection of vintage treasures, oddities, art, and collectibles spread across a beautifully chaotic space. Maybe two years ago there were more interesting antiques here and at realistic prices. Fast forward to February 2026 the prices are a joke. I’m a collector who travels major shows like Brimfields and Renningers and from my point of view this place is a ripoff and for the uninformed

Very large oddities/antique store! Curated selection of great finds in a "booth" configuration. There's a lot to see. You could easily spend upwards of 3 hours in this store looking through every little treasure. The employees are very friendly and helpful! My wife and I love this place.
