Great studio with lots of selection for adult dropin classes and workshops. Just did a three week tap workshop where we learned a musical routine. Laura, the studio owner, makes you feel right at home and comfortable regardless of skill level.
The babywearing dance class at Union Studios is fantastic! It was a great way to spend time with my baby, meet other moms, and gain more confidence in moving around with the baby in the carrier. Laura is a great teacher, very encouraging and fun.
Lovely dance studio in Ottawa! I was looking for a studio that caters towards more advanced students with various styles to take classes at over the summer. The studio has a wonderful atmosphere and the best instructors who cater to all levels and will modify movements as needed. I highly recommend Serena Finlayson’s jazz/contemp class for really fun choreo for inter/adv students and Laura’s Broadway Jazz for a super fun upbeat class. They also run all sorts of workshops throughout the school year with all sorts of styles and dance related activities!
I've just finished a three week Broadway dance class for beginners at Union Studios and I loved every minute of it! I was a little nervous to take the class, as I haven't really danced since I was a young girl, but the teacher (and owner, Laura Merani) did an amazing job of making us all feel at home. The choreography was a lot of fun and challenged us in the best possible way. I will definitely be returning to Union Studios in the future - especially for Broadway classes! It's a great studio with a great vibe and an amazing team.
