We have done escape rooms all over the US and love them. We have probably done 100 total. Unit 55 was recommended to us so we thought we would give it a try. They started off by putting bags over your head and laying your team into a small room. We were excited and thought this was awesome. When we took the bags of we were in a room painted black with a couple laminated pieces of paper staples to the wall and to a table. There were a couple maps strapped to another wall. After figuring out what the clues meant and getting out of the first room, when went into a all black hallway where we were met by what was supposed to be a werewolf but looked more like a goblin, krampus troll. My husband said the actor kept sticking his fingers in his ears and he was breathing closely enough into another team members face that she was spit on. There was no decor, a couple locks to get through. We hate using clues, which they said they don't really give anyway, but the werewolf had to clue us into thing's that we're pretty impossible to see. They also told us at the beginning that we might be kidnapped and brought to a different room to solve another Puzzle. I was "kidnapped" a bag again on over my head,, lead down the hallway and stuck in a corner for about 2 minutes, no other puzzle, no other room, just the end of a hallway. It was not too hard but it didn't seem to flow, it was just kinda random puzzles thrown together. We got out with 10 minutes left. I would never go back, it seemed like a waste of time and money. Escape rooms don't have to be overly elaborate and decorated, but this was just black walls, and boring. Probably the worst escape room we have done.

We did Pharaohs Tomb it was interesting, entertaining, & definitely challenging. I'd recommend adults or older teens ( I brought my 11 year old she wasn't alot of help due to the challenges). I'd definitely recommend going to that room. The game master is amazing he's patient, friendly, informative, & a good hint giver he was a pleasure to talk to & do business with (he needs a raise). There was 1 item ( can't say what it is) that didn't make since they are aware of it but may not be a problem for others or maybe will be changed in future (that was the only reason didn't do 5 star). It was REALLY fun & glad I went money well spent. We will go again in future ( this is our 3rd time there)

Love Unit 55! This is not your typical escape room. The feel of a haunted house mixed with the riddles and rooms to escape, make it an adrenaline rush. The Unit 55 crew does an amazing job getting creative with each game. We always have a blast! #teamramrod

This place is totally worth every penny. It is a fully immersive, horror themed escape game. The puzzles vary in difficulty and length. But the real plus to the experience is that they have actors that scare the life out of you as you're trying to escape. The level of excitement is totally upped. It makes it hard to go back to traditional escape rooms after this!
