Our day trip with Up Close and Local Tours included Caversham Wildlife Park & Swan Valley. Great to have Paul with us and he reminded us about the show time and main attractions in the park and even helping to take our photographs.

What an awesome bloke . Had a great time on the Smokin’ BBQ Tour . Paul was fantastic and made the whole group feel comfortable and we all engaged in conversation. A local for 50 years and never even knew some of these places were here. Highly recommend a tour with this company.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on our wine tour. Shannon was exceptional, her extensive knowledge of the region, the wines, and the wineries really elevated the whole experience. She was patient, engaging, and made sure we enjoyed every moment. Every winery we visited was unique and worth the stop, each had its own charm and amazing wines to try. It was a great private experience, and we felt so well looked after throughout the day. Would 10/10 recommend Up Close and Local and would love to go again!

Shannon is an excellent tour guide, highly experienced and knowledgeable about wineries. During the trip, she asked thoughtful questions, like whether it was my first time in Perth and what places I planned to visit. She also shared some great recommendations for my trip. Throughout the journey, she made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. We visited four different wineries to sample their unique wines. The standout for me was the Honey Wine, which had an incredibly distinctive taste and isn’t available in supermarkets. It left a lasting impression. For future visitors, I’d recommend emailing Up Close and Local Tours ahead of time to check if it's the right season to witness production or harvesting. Since we visited in Spring, most of the production had already finished, and the vines were awaiting the next reproduction cycle. As a result, we primarily enjoyed wine tastings during our tour.
