Tom was an incredible DJ for our wedding night, working with us to understand what we wanted to hear on our wedding night whilst also reading the room. He also was the MC and followed all the instructions we left for him! The night ran so perfect, timings were perfect and he co-ordinated and handled the flow of the night incredibly with the venue! Our guests danced all night, he was super chill and was able to match the energy of us and the crowd !

Legends! These guys played our wedding, music exactly in the style we asked, kept people on the dance floor all night. So easy to deal with in the lead up, super responsive and helpful in keeping us on track with the planning. Can't recommend more highly.

Would just like to give a massive thank you to DJ Gideon who was a complete legend who was loved by us and all the guests. He also catered to our music tastes all night and kept everyone entertained. Couldn’t recommend enough! Also shoutout to owner Tom who was so professional, responsive and a pleasure to work with during the planning process 😁

From the pre-event planning to reading the room and giving the people what they wanted - Upbeat Social is a dream to deal with! After having heard them play at a few industry events, it was the easiest decision booking them when planning our own awards night. We hired Upbeat Social to DJ at our wedding reception after our venue coordinator recommended them. We are so glad we followed that recommendation! Tom was so easy to communicate with and very responsive right from the start. Hal was our DJ for our evening and he was fantastic. Hal worked so well with our saxophone player (Taylor de Col) and they were a great DJ + sax team. We got a larger than expected crowd up and dancing (even the oldies joined in!). When I mentioned to several of our other vendors that we had hired Upbeat Social, the response was always positive and it was very reassuring to hear that a number of them had previously worked with Upbeat Social and had a great experience. I could tell that the DJs at Upbeat Social have a great reputation within the wedding and events industry. If you are looking for a professional, experienced and fun DJ, we could not recommend Upbeat Social highly enough!
