The best experience from the moment I walked in…I was greeted by the owner with an offering of a cup of tea and conversation about Italian cooking classes by a local chef while the auto detailer offered to buff out some old scratches at no cost while I signed paperwork. When I went to drop off my car I was offered pizza and conversation about a local artist and the best surprise was when I was able to pick up my car 6 days later looking even better than before my accident. Friendly professional staff and exceptional work at very reasonable pricing.

Hands down the best body shop in the Bay Area. I might go so far as to say the best business in general as far as Customer service goes and quality of work. It is probably the best business I have ever dealt with. And everyone that works there is incredible! My truck looks like new again. SPECIAL shout out to Anna for being able to park my truck in a very tight spot in front the shop AND then she made me a delicious cappuccino while I waited for the rental car. Just amazing 🫶

I wouldn't wish a car accident on anyone. But if you have one, I highly recommend this place. They helped me with everything my car needed, and the staff was so friendly. There was a young woman who really put me at ease. I'm sorry I can't remember her name, but thank you for your help. My car is now working perfectly. They are very professional and dedicated to their customers' needs. Thank you.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting uptown body and fender, and I can't recommend them highly enough! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and attentive. I had some damage on my car from an accident, and I was truly impressed by how quickly they assessed the situation. They explained the repair process in detail and took control over having insurance adjuster over costs. I felt confident leaving my vehicle in their capable hands. The work they did was nothing short of exceptional. Not only did they fix the damage perfectly, but they also cleaned my car inside and out! It looked as good as new when I picked it up. They even completed the work in shorter duration than expected! What stood out to me the most was their commitment to customer satisfaction. I'm so pleased and surprised by how amazing the entire experience with Uptown Body & Fender was! Our Mazda CX-5 got hit in a parking lot so we had a smashed headlight that needed fixing before our upcoming road trip. I went to 4 other shops that were open during the weekend getting quotes that made me cry, and I had decided to go to one of them Monday morning. I made a last minute audible to come by this shop first just to get one more estimate, and I'm SO glad I did! From the very beginning it was by far the most professional experience I had. - There is a place to park your car in the garage while they do the estimate and a cute lobby with tea and coffee for you to wait in. - E V E R Y O N E is incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Steve and Anna. It really seems like they all enjoy working there. - Multiple people looked at my car and they listened to my needs. In my case we didn't want it beautifully perfect, but we did need it functional. - I was given a written, detailed estimate with an explanation of the full intended process. Any potential extra costs were disclosed. - I didn't use it because I live in walking distance, but they had a shuttle if I needed it. - My car was done the morning of the first day of the estimated finish range, definitely earlier than I expected - They reduced the cost for services they did not need to perform in the end - so shocked and pleased with this! - They pulled the car out of the garage for me ( I so appreciate this, I hate pulling out of garages). - They don't do oil changes, but gave me a recommendation. - I got a little thank you gift at the end. Our car looked way better than I expected, especially because I had asked for it to be minimally repaired to keep costs low. All in all they provided a stress-free resolution to what was a frustrating snafu, and I couldn't be more glad I came here. I hope we don't need to go back, but living in Oakland I'm sure we will and I'm glad to know there is a reliable, honest shop that will be there for us!
