Tea is great, but they are only to go. There are nice comfortable seats inside, but when our tea was ready we were asked to leave. We were given the option of sitting in the "art gallery" which is a cold hallway. I thought spending $20 for tea and cookies would allow me the chance to sit in a comfy chair and be warm.
I stopped by after having their tea at a local restaurant and was super impressed. I've had their earl grey, genmai-hoji, and hojicha teas. All 3 were really good. I got the hojicha as a sample, which was perfect, because it was a little too expensive to take a chance on getting a bag of it without trying first. The guy at the counter was super friendly and helpful. And their website is really well done. I appreciate all of the information online about their teas.
TLDR: Simply wonderful. They’ve got a great selection, reasonable prices and fantastic staff. I honestly don’t know what they could possibly do to be better. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re definitely missing out.
I found my tea spot!!! Today was full of happy accidents — the salon I was going to today wasn’t open and I really needed a haircut and a pedi, so I looked for something open nearby who could squeeze me in. Found Walk In Salon on 23rd and they brought me a little order card to pick my tea… iced, hot, monk fruit sweetener option, and I got the Rooibos Caramel… 🤤 SO good!!! I will be stopping in anytime I get a service at my new salon (and every time I’m on 23rd! What a happy new year it’s turning out to be already!
Their matcha is top tier as well as the almost 100 flavors they have! You can walk in for a hot or iced drink to go, or order online, you won't be disappointed. I love tea and this place would easily make a believer out of a novice! The staff is laid back and incredibly knowledgeable adding to the calm vibe of this lil gem right in the heart of Uptown. It's a must stop!
