I have been here many times with my 2 girls. Usually for flu or strep tests. Saturday night, my youngest who is just getting over flu A became really sick again so I took her in on Sunday. They did flu, strep and covid tests and said they were negative it must be some other virus. Monday I had to start alternating Tylenol and Advil to keep her fever down. Every few hours it was going up to 102. I took her back this morning and tested her again. Nothing.. There are 4 people in our home no one else is sick, she obviously is not contagious and has some kind of infection. Her temperature is now 103.4 and I'm hoping to get in to her primary care to get an antibiotic which she definitely needs. This has just been a horrible experience and the resistance to giving an antibiotic is ridiculous. Sometimes its better to give what you think is an unnecessary medicine when nothing else is working. 3 days of a fever over 102 should tell you its not viral if nobody else in the home is showing any symptoms. UPDATE, she has Flu B which they kept saying was negative plus an ear infection. 🤔
