Arrived at 1:41 PM. There were three lines with two cars in each. It’s now 3:25 PM and I’m still waiting to be helped. I haven’t spoken with anyone beyond requesting an oil change. I’ve just been sitting in my car watching employees stand around. I’m not sure if it’s a lack of urgency or poor workflow, but something in the process needs to change. I might not have been so upset if we’d been warned ahead of time it was going to take this long. The gentleman said it’d be a 30-35 minute wait. And it’s not like we can just leave, there is a narrow lane with about six cars behind us. Never ever coming here again. Updated Review: My total visit time today was 2 hours and 23 minutes (from 1:41 PM to 4:04 PM). It was 1 hour and 55 minutes before anyone even approached my vehicle to begin the oil change. Sitting in the car that long with no communication was extremely frustrating. I also want to address the conflicting information I received about the oil-life interval. When I asked how long the full synthetic would last, the technician was polite and straightforward and told me he wasn’t sure because he wasn’t a CSR. I asked if he could check with one, and he did, but every time he relayed one of my follow-up questions to the CSR, the CSR looked increasingly irritated. It was clear he didn’t appreciate being questioned, even though I was just trying to understand the information I was being given. The explanations kept changing each time the CSR answered. I was told full synthetic was only good for 3,000 miles, and that this was because my vehicle has stop/start and that this was “manufacturer recommended.” But the numbers shifted each time I asked for clarification. To double-check, I called a different Valvoline location afterward, and after confirming the year, make, and model of my Jeep, they told me the interval should be closer to 10,000 miles. That leads me to believe the issue here is, inconsistent training or inaccurate information being given at this specific store. For fairness, I do want to note that Zach the technician handling my car was respectful the entire time. The problem was the long wait time, the lack of communication, and the CSR’s attitude and inconsistent answers, which made the experience overall very frustrating.
Although I waited for 40 minutes to get my oil change, Nicholas and Junior had great customer service. They were short handed but manage the flow very well. I gave them 5 stars because I appreciate the customer service and they did their job even under the pressure. Keep up the good work Nicholas and Junior.
Excellent service. The technicians were very professional, did their job quickly and thoroughly. Price was quite reasonable. One thing I really liked is I assumed I needed to replace the air filter, but they showed it to me and it was cleaner than I thought. Great level of integrity, a lot of other places would have replaced it anyway to make the extra money.
I am a frequent customer at Valvoline oil change centers, first time at this locations. Went in for an oil change and state inspection. These guys have absolutely no regard for working clean. EVERYTHING they touched has thick oil smears on it, my fender, hood, grill and all over my engine bay, took me 15 minutes to clean it up. They also left oil from their hands on my air filter. People always leave a little bit of a mess, but this is ridiculous. They left one of the clips off on my air cleaner box which is a huge problem. This was the first time I let them pump the oil out of my engine, I always have them drain from the plug because I fear they won't remove all of the old oil. They only pumped out 4.5 quarts which made me nervous. My engine takes 5.6 quarts. I asked if the oil was low and I was told it was slightly low, like barely which is typical on my dip stick. My car has never burned oil and I was early for the oil change. So, after looking at the oil level at home, this is the first time my oil level is above the full mark, after adding 5.6, its usually just under the full mark. This confirms my suspicion, they just pump out whatever out and add 5.6 quarts, so now it's over filled. They also lost a clip but installed a new one. Think I'll be changing my own oil from now on. Can't trust anyone, even for a simple oil change.
Valvoline instant oil change locations are a sensible and much more affordable alternative to your automobile dealer. I just recently discovered them and I am sold with them. The wait is a fraction of the time and staff is just as knowledgeable as the dealers staff without the high price. They offer many of the fluid changes as well as filters and wipers just like the dealer at a way more manageable price.
