VEG ER for Pets

I cannot say enough good things about VEG Georgetown. From Sheila at the front desk, the vet tech (didn’t catch her name but go UM), to Dr. Bravo. We were able to stay with our Ginger girl, the attention was so great. They explained and took care of our dog and we were discharged within 1 hour. Wish they had this type of service near our home in Florida.

Everything you could want for you and your fur baby in an ER. You get to stay with your pet, all day and night if you have overnight care. It's accessible, right on M Street. It's super clean, the staff is professional, warm, welcoming and friendly. They all took steps to make sure both my pet and me were as comfortable as possible. Most services are performed right in front of you and there's no drama. They offer free snacks and beverages and even provide disposable toothbrushes if you decide to stay the night with your baby. It's everything I could ask for in a stressful situation and I was kept up to date frequently. I highly recommend VEG Georgetown. I wish every healthcare place could be like this.

I had a great experience at VEG ER. We arrived pretty late at night to treat my dog. We were received warmly by one of the vets. The entire staff was so caring making sure my dog's treatment was successful. The communicated our options and their recommendations every step of the way. Their concern and care helped during a stressful situation. Most importantly, they resolved my dog's health issue and he's as good as new! During recovery they even got him blankets and a pillow so he'd stay warm! Great vets and vet techs! Thank you so much. Highly recommend!

Cannot say enough good things about VEG on M Street. From the first time I called I was always able to get a doctor on the phone within minutes for advice on how emergent my situation was. Then everyone was so lovely to me and my pets. Dr Leguizamo was great! We were seen quickly, everyone was kind to Stella and they were incredibly thorough. They made a stressful situation way less stressful.

I can’t thank this emergency veterinary team enough for the amazing care they gave to my baby. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so kind, compassionate, and professional. They treated my dog with such gentle care, kept me informed every step of the way, and patiently answered all of my questions. It gave me so much comfort knowing my dog was in such capable and caring hands. I’m truly grateful for the support, compassion, and excellent care we received during such a stressful time.
