Our first time trying Venchi. Mike at UTC was amazing! He was super friendly and gave us a lot of good recommendations. The gelato was so delicious! We are definitely returning.
Best gelato ever. I come here too frequently, and highly recommend trying ALL the flavors. I’ve been coming here since they opened in UTC and the line is always super busy, except right before closing. My favorites are cremino and baciodidama! Saul was also such a great help with explaining all the flavors when I went this November.
Delicious gelato flavors & hot chocolate! The service was sweet, and the ambiance felt warm & inviting. The biggest highlight of my visit was Selena. She was exceptionally kind and generously spread her joyful energy. Her warmth, patience, and genuine enthusiasm were truly admirable. It's rare to meet someone who radiates positivity so effortlessly. Thank you, Selena! I'll absolutely be returning and recommending this place to others.
One of my favorite Italian Gelato places is here in San Diego! When I travel to italy this is one of my favorite gelato/chocolate places I make a point to visit. When I found out UTC had it, I was so ecstatic. The gelato here is sooo creamy and delicious. I would even say life changing for me. I can’t eat gelato any where else. You get what you pay for, and that is true Italian luxury desserts. If you haven’t tried it, go inside and the wonderful staff lets you Try a piece of chocolate or a sample of gelato!
James was amazing! He went above and beyond to help us out and made the whole experience so much better. We originally stopped in just for a small dessert after dinner, but thanks to his great recommendations and friendly personality, we upgraded to a regular and even added some delicious chocolate inside. He’s not just a great salesman, he truly makes you feel welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommend asking for James, you won’t be disappointed!
