Went here to take class of stone lithography printing. That phrase may be redundant, but I learned a lot, had a good time, and left with a print I made from start to finish. The Verge has all kinds of art classes, as well as temporary exhibitions in their gallery.
What a great place! We attended a class here and found the environment and people to be simply awesome. Having Axis Gallery in the building is a bonus. The Members' show alone is worth the trip.
I took a pottery class workshop at the verge as well as walked around the gallery. This is a fantastic place for artists of all ages and for anyone who is curious or interested in learning about art. I have been multiple times and have had great experiences with the staff and teachers who run the workshops. The staff are all very kind, professional, and very nice people. Truly a great place. Definitely coming back again.
Went to an open studio event that required $150 payment to join, the energy in the room was similar to that of a wake, and the food they offered was dismal at best.. The director’s demeanor was even colder than the stale food. This place needs a complete overhaul from the top - down. I’d give a 1/2 star if I could, this place needs some seasoning if you catch my drift. Wondering where the $150 from the over 250+ artists is going…?
A wonderful place to let creative juices flow, even for those of us who are less artistically inclined. They have lots of interesting exhibits, courteous staff and scores of stimulating activities. Highly recommended for all ages!
