The website is horrible. I could not find a way to login. I could not find holidayoperating hours yet the climbing team and group meetup were scheduled for th 12/31. I tried to go climbing on New Years eve around 4pm on Wednesday and the place was closed. No sign on the door stating holiday hours and nothing on the website. I tried to call and no recording of the "holiday" hours as well. The climbing is great there but the workout equipment section seems dated. The treadmills work but don't seem to be connected to the internet to take advantage of other features. The climbing walls are great and the staff are cool and has a good vibe with the other patrons but comparing to other facilities as a whole seems, it seems sub-par for the membership fees being doled out. It is the closest gym so what are you gonna do? Hopefully I don't get black-balled with this review because I still like climbing there.
The place is for climbers of all levels. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, and the routes are really well set — challenging but fun! The facility is clean, spacious, and has a great energy. Whether you're bouldering or top roping, there's something for everyone.
What an amazing experience! My son and I have tried this place a few times. Today, we took their "Learn the ropes" class. Dakota was amazing! He took the time to ensure we really understood the concepts and went at our speed. He was professional and encouraging! Then he checked in on us after the class a few times to ensure that we didn't have any questions!! Wish this place was closer! It's an hour and a half away but we will definitely be back!
VR has 50+ foot climbing walls, arch and roof climbs, and a variety of rock climbing classes for beginners and experts. You’ll need to have some level of athletic ability but you don’t need to be in perfect condition. They also have a fitness area with strength and cardio equipment, a yoga room, two private rooms that can be used for party or meeting purposes. The staff are all super friendly and supportive and genuinely want to make your experience enjoyable. VR is also a great destination for birthday parties. Make sure to wear appropriate clothing as you’ll want to make the climbs as easy as possible.
This place is a blast. We took our teenage son and I think the adults had just as much fun as the kids. We have been to several other rock climbing businesses and what was nice about this one was that we had a dedicated staff member that stayed with us the entire experience. I would recommend this place for both beginner and the experienced.
