This is before I was scammed out my money. He never sent me a contract. Provided me one price during walk and sent an invoice for a different price. Very pushy on getting deposit. Did not give me any information on cancellation or anything else only after I had sent him $750 in deposit. Told me it was my fault for send the money without a contract. Was not very accommodating to my needs when it came to booking the event space. Was not easy to get in contact with other then texting. Wanted to charge me more money for set up time for event. Just really not accommodating and slick about providing information to do business properly.

The owner is very pushy and a scam. I tried to do business by book my 50th birthday with him. He intentionally provided me with one price during walk through and a percentage off at time of deposit. He kept texting me in demand of the deposit. I gave him the deposit and requested for contact, instead he kept texting me an invoice and emailing. Told me a different amount on invoice and deposit amount. When I responded to him that I was on getting invoice no contract he stated that he would send. I sent another amount of the balance the following week trusting that he would send me the contract. I requested if he could provide me with 1-2 hours before event to come and set up. He told me I would need to pay extra for those hours. I had never had an event center not provided extra time for set up and charge for it. I decided to cancel with the communication that was occurring and his unwillingness to be open to provide services to a new customer. I asked what the cancellation stipulation would be and once again I received a text, which I was already past the time frame for a refund. Terrible customer service and communication! Did not return my deposit and took $750 from me! Karma is going to be a big one! Because from My understanding this is not the first time he has done business this way. Since my bank did not honor my dispute. I bet the Better Business Bureau will do their due diligence!

The owner is extremely responsive. He took his time showing the venue and answered every question I had. He is military friendly as well. There’s not much decorating I will have to do since the place has just about everything I need and want. I will be contacting him again for any future events I hold.

We had a wonderful experience using this venue for my baby shower. The space was nice, affordable, and perfect for our event. Booking was easy, and the owner, JD, worked with us every step of the way and was incredibly helpful. Our guests found the venue neat and really cool—everyone loved the two-story layout. It was spacious and comfortable for our guest count of 45. I would definitely recommend this venue for anyone looking for a great event space.

Beautiful place equipped with kitchen. It was the perfect spot to have a baby shower. Was very spacious with over 30+ people. I definitely recommend this spot for any sort of party.

This event space is highly recommended, I went for a shower at the end of last year, now I'm in the process of booking my husband's party here, great atmosphere, location and pricing is amazing. Book here ❤️ update as of Dec 5th 2025 ❤️ JD is the real MVP, his spirit is amazing, this by far was the best venue space I've experienced here in San Antonio, from pricing to location, amenities etc. everything you can ask for to make your event amazing is right here at Vice Event space, highly recommended and I give 100/100.
