I had called them ahead of time to ask if they could still see me at 10:20-10:30pm, where they then obliged. I had told them I was coming with my dad because I am still a minor, so they had an expectation as to who would be coming. I had severe head pain and had a worsening stomach pain. As soon as I walk in, the first receptionist looked at me with disappointment, but I ignored it because I was in pain. I began explaining that I called in ahead of time and began giving my information, but I was cut off rudely by another individual who was either a practitioner or receptionist who told me they were no longer going to see people. I was disappointed, but left without any issues. My dad then let them know that he was very disappointed with the service. As I got into the passenger seat, the practitioner (or receptionist, whichever it is) then came out and flipped the middle finger at me and my father, and began to grab his groin area as me and my father left. I don't know what kind of experience others have had at this medical center, but mines was very disappointing. I will never be coming back here again, and hope action will be taken against the disgusting employee I had spoken with.
I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. I visited this clinic in the evening for an acute ear issue. Before scheduling, I specifically asked the front desk if this was urgent care and was told yes. The website markets urgent care services, and my appointment confirmation text also explicitly stated URGENT CARE. From the start, my interactions with the front desk felt rude and unwelcoming, which made it difficult to ask clarifying questions or feel confident about what to expect. Clear communication at check-in would have helped avoid much of the confusion that followed. The actual visit was extremely brief — approximately three minutes with the doctor and a few minutes with a nurse. It involved a quick ear exam, a rapid strep test, and a standard prescription. There was no imaging, no complex decision-making, and no management of chronic conditions. Despite this, the visit was billed as a new patient office visit (CPT 99203) which is a moderate complexity visit. They did not bill the visit as urgent care, resulting in a significantly higher out-of-pocket cost. When I contacted the billing department to request a review, they were very rude and I was told they always bill this moderate complexity code (even though my visit was low complexity) and do not review or adjust coding based on visit complexity. My insurance company confirmed this with the office and was unable to require a correction, even though the visit was over-billed. While the clinical care itself was fine, the lack of transparency around billing and communication is extremely disappointing. If a clinic markets and schedules visits as urgent care but bills them as primary care office visits regardless of complexity, patients should be clearly informed (not just hidden in all of the forms you sign) before receiving care. I recommend anyone considering this clinic ask very specific questions in advance about how visits are billed so that you are aware that you will likely be paying more for the visit than if you were to go to another "urgent care" clinic.
The doctor or nurse practitioner was great and the availability of PCR testing led to a quick and accurate diagnosis for my son. However, the manner and attitude of the first guy (medical technician) who saw my 9 year old was so rude that my son was afraid and wanted to leave. That guy should be fired. Overall it is a great urgent care and our experience was marred by one bitchy guy.
Recently stopped in to see about a cough. They two gentleman could not find the initial reservation. They did not seem to care if there was one and referred us to sign in. They busily watched shows on their phones loudly as we completed the online registration. At this point two people came in and asked about a previous visit and whether the lab work was correctly ordered. The two gentlemen told them it was “probably right”. The clients asked them to check the record. They did, repeated it was “probably right”. The two clients left. We asked them how their experience was - they were not happy, said it was a “sketchy” experience entirely. That was enough, between the lack of attentiveness and then the instant review, easy decision.
I had an unexpected urgent medical issue pop up while out of town for a wedding. I had a great experience with Vista. They were open late and were able to get me in on short notice. The booking process through the app was fairly easy, although the available times and choosing one kept malfunctioning, so I had to choose a later time than initially expected. However, when I arrived, I was able to be seen right away. They had the testing materials needed in-house, and I was able to receive the treatment I needed that same night. I was really happy to find this urgent care!
