Bill was extremely helpful and professional. I had to rent equipment on short notice but was not actually able to rent from here. Bill kindly and promptly referred me to another business where I was able to rent equipment from. Bill's assistance was stellar and he helped me make a list of things I needed for a new job of mine. I would leave a 6/5 star review if possible. Thank you again Bill, and if anyone is looking for assistance with camera rentals, please consult Bill and this business, you won't be disappointed.
I discovered these guys looking for a few obscure parts for my camera. They gave me an amazing deal on everything and took time to train me how to use some new audio gear for a documentary I’ve been working on. They instantly made me feel like family and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else for anything production related. The FX6 and lenses they’ve got for rent have been super helpful with filming live shows too.
I bought a used item online. When it arrived it was not the model advertised and it was missing critical parts. I emailed and nobody got back to me. I called; the person I talked to was nice but couldn't help me and promised that the owner would get back to me. The owner never did. I emailed again. My conclusion: this might be a fine store to visit in person and maybe a fine place to buy NEW items online, but don't buy used stuff from them or expect responsive customer service.
Voice and Video is the best place to rent gear in San Diego for you production needs. Rob and the crew are always so great to work with and will help you outfit your production for success. They also have a lot of production gear in stock for purchase and they’re able to order any specifics you may need. Thanks for another great year of working together!
We absolutely love Voice and Video Sales! It's literally the only store front in San Diego that provides industry grade cameras and equipment. My husband and I are in the store at least once an week if not more and they always have what we need! The staff is super friendly and patient with us! Rob and Kimmy are the best!!! We are currently filming a feature film and have bought about 80% of our gear at Voice and Video Sales. We also purchased our RED KOMODO along with all of the necessary accessories!!! Highly recommend coming in!
