Even though one can barely walk there, the atmosphere that you are immersed into in this bookstore is unforgettable I am also pretty sure they have literally every single book in existence. Perfect for second-hand hunting and non-fiction

Very chaotic and nae chance finding the author I was looking for but left with books I wasn't looking for! Cash only? Maybe just as well! Prices are pretty reasonable, cheaper than Oxfam but without the sanctimony.

I just loved this little hidden (not a figure of speech) gem - a treasure trove of pre-loved books. It's places like this that makes me want to live/ stay back in places I visit. The scent of old books when you enter, the rows and rows of old books - It's like an enchanting maze, not sure what you'd stumble upon! And it is always lovely when you overhear the chuckles and joy of someone finding a book they loved/ found interesting... (I wasn't eavesdropping, I promise!). Your honourable host, the cat, who adrons the royal throne at the table! When I visited, the music on the radio was some old/ Latin church choir or service (sort of) - it just added to the beautiful gothic (dare I say), bohemian, old-world-charm-experience! Oh, and they have an online store too, in case you (unfortunately) cannot visit! ☺️
