I have been doing researched for years on permanent brow makeup .. I am so happy I found Vy! She was super kind, professional, and very detailed when explaining the entire process to me before, during, and after my visit. I am coming back for a touch up in March but love how my brows are turning out so far. I did the Nano Strokes and it is definitely going to seem way too dark at first, but once the healing process begins (scabbing & peeling) I promise you will love it as much as I do! I had such an amazing experience at Vy Brows ✨ From the moment I walked in, everything felt calm, professional, and welcoming. Vy is incredibly talented and truly takes her time to make sure every detail is perfect. Her attention to symmetry, shape, and overall balance is next level. She really listens to what you want, explains the process thoroughly, and makes sure you feel comfortable every step of the way. I never felt rushed, and I could tell she genuinely cares about her clients and her work. My brows turned out beautifully natural and so flattering to my face. I’ve received so many compliments already 💕 If you’re looking for someone who is skilled, patient, and passionate about what she does, Vy Brows is absolutely the place to go. Highly recommend!
Vy is a perfectionist!!! She takes her time and is very knowledgeable. I came prepared with pictures of how I wanted my brows to look but they were not needed at all. Her mapping was right on and even corrected my uneven brows (one was much higher than the other). She has great taste and my brows both look natural and like I put some makeup on. Just perfect! Her student, Zoe, was also very patient and sweet! She will be great as well!
Veena did an amazing Job with my mom eyebrows she took the time to design my mom eyebrows and show my mom if she was happy with the design and my mom was. My mom was nervous for how her eyebrows will turn out but when she saw the finished design my mom love the way they look and will come again for her retouch
⭐ Review for VY Brows – San Jose, CA I rarely leave reviews, but I feel a responsibility to share my experience with VY Brows so that others can make an informed decision before booking. I went in asking for a very natural look for my nano blading service. Unfortunately, I did not receive what I asked for. The artist decided to shave off the tails of my natural eyebrows and create a thicker, more dramatic tattoo shape that does not suit my facial features (I have a small forehead and eyes). I specifically emphasized that I wanted a soft, natural result that followed my original brow line, but this was ignored. When I expressed my concern and told the owner, Vy, that I wasn’t happy with how my brows turned out, she seemed frustrated rather than understanding. Instead of acknowledging my feelings or offering a solution, she brushed it off and said, “Don’t worry, they’ll look better in two weeks.” I felt dismissed and rushed out, even though I had just spent $500 on the service. Another thing I wish I had known before booking is that the touch-up appointment costs an additional $200, which was not clearly stated at the time of booking. This should be transparent upfront. After the appointment, I also experienced skin irritation — redness and peeling that spread from my brows to my forehead, cheeks, and chin. I later realized this could have been caused by the latex gloves used during the procedure, as I have a latex sensitivity. It took a lot of time to disinfect my makeup tools and allow my skin to heal. Additionally, the treatment bed was extremely uncomfortable for such a long procedure (4–5 hours). It’s very flat with little to no lower back support, which caused back pain by the end of the session. To be fair, the salon itself is very aesthetic, organized, and clean, and their email communication before the appointment was smooth. However, there was no follow-up from Vy or her team afterward—not an email, text, or message to check on my results or satisfaction. That lack of care was the most disappointing part. In my opinion, this business focuses heavily on showcasing only their best work on social media, which doesn’t reflect all client experiences. Go ahead and also review on the yelp so that you can read more negative reviews. Another thing that I would like to share. Is that a day before she asked me if I can move my appointment and I told her no I thought that was very unprofessional. Also, when I expressed dissatisfaction over in an email on how to possibly fix these and just erase them, they told me that there was gonna be a charge when it was their mistake so I don’t think I was supposed to be charged when I didn’t like their service and it was not what I asked for I asked for a natural look so instead of them Recognizing it and caring how their clients feel they were like trying to make me pay about $200 to get them removed I would not go back to this place even to get my eyebrows removed. That is how unsatisfied I am. Overall, I would not recommend VY Brows, especially if you’re looking for a natural, customized brow result. If you do decide to go, please ask detailed questions, confirm all costs upfront, and make sure your preferences are fully understood before the artist begins.
