Me and my grandma had a rather enjoyable lunch at this Wahacca restaurant in Cardiff. The food was all delicious, and presented really nicely. I loved the decor of the restaurant as well. Everything felt very authentically Mexican and we enjoyed the experience a lot. The one downside is that when it is busy you can potentially be forgotten about. We waited nearly an hour for our Churros to end our meal, and then had to wait again for the cheque. We had to take the churros to go as we needed to catch a train. The staff did deduct this off our bill though, as an apology, which was a kind gesture. Overall it was quite a nice experience, and I would recommend visiting for sure, just maybe during a quieter time.
Awesome meal and perfect service!! We hadn’t been to Wahaca for years after being quite addicted and completing their menu in the past! The menu is smaller than it used to be but full of incredible variety and flavours! Loved our meal! Service from Sophie E was perfect too! Really chilled and attentive! We chose a few of her recommendations and they were lush! 👏
I was quite impressed with this place. We travel to Texas a lot and have tried many Mexican or Tex/Mex restaurants over there, and Wahaca is the closest we’ve had to these in the UK. Good menu selection, with the food we chose being pretty good. Well presented. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was good. Quite a large restaurant on three levels. We were seated on the smaller upper level, but it was still a good experience.
Wonderful as usual! We tried the new autumnal menu and it did not disappoint! Sophie B was our server and was brilliant, attentive and friendly through, along with everyone else who brought food over etc. Wahaca has always hit the spot and this time was no different. Highly recommend the butter bean & confit garlic dip alongside the roast butternut squash and the pork belly. If you’ve come for the drinks the day of the dead special blood orange and hibiscus margarita is magical.
Loved my visit to Wahaca! 🌮🔥 Tried two tacos and a Chipotle – everything was packed with flavour and absolutely delicious. The food had just the right kick of spice 🌶️ and left me wanting more. Big shoutout to Sarai who was the best – super friendly, helpful, and made the experience even better. Defo coming again! 🙌
