Stayed here last weekend on a solo trip and loved it! The service Was excellent, the rooms were super cute. I slept so well! I walked across the street to neighbors and had pizza and some wine and that was perfect. My only critique would be to add conditioner(Shampoo and body wash only) to the shower! I didn’t bring any assuming they would have some and ended up having to not wash my hair cause I just can’t survive without conditioner! Great place, I will definitely stay here again!

Okay, I had a great stay here despite some minor quirks. Here are my slight issues: The check in process was somewhat invasive. Meaning, I had to scan my driver's license and my wife's driver's license on my phone and upload them. This is strange. Internationally, I have had the receptionist make a copy of my passport, but even that has not always been the case. Often, I show it and they say okay. Domestically, outside of Hotel Roosevelt in Hollywood, I have never had to scan my driver's license. It's always show your ID and go. And both Internationally and Domestically, I have never had to have my partner's license scanned as well. My other minor quip is there is a ledge at the top of the bed where the plug is. It's hard to sit up in bed without knocking out the plugs. Also, there is an awful lot of codes to get in: one for the main entrance to just get to the main entrance, another to get inside, and another for the room. Okay, those are it. Otherwise, this is a great hotel. The absolute best part of the hotel is the location. This is a gem of a neighborhood! It has a Michelin star rated Thai restaurant less than a quarter block away, an amazing speakeasy chocolate place, a pizza place that turns into a club at night, and an amazing brewery maybe two blocks away. Plus, public transportation right there! Would I stay here again? Yep. Should you? Yep.

I enjoyed my stay at Wanderstay Boutique Hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive prior to my arrival, by calling to confirm my stay, and once I arrived details I needed to know about the hotel were shared. The Black & White Artsy room I selected was so cute. I liked the color scheme and details, such as the towel warmer, rain shower with great water pressure, and sleeping on a very comfortable bed. Parking is limited (6-7 spots), but its good that the business across from the hotel allows guests to park when spaces on the side of the hotel are not available at night. The lobby, kichen area, and conference room are beautiful esthetically and light breakfast snacks are provided to guest. Room for improvement: Hotel entry: Please move the keypad right next to the sliding door entry so that it is not in an awkward position for access. Currently you have to place your hand through a small opening to punch in a pin, which is not convenient, especially when holding other items. Provide an adjustable chair in the Black & White room that reaches the height of the high built-in desk, especially for eating your food.

I had a wonderful stay at Wanderstay Houston and truly enjoyed every part of the experience. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxed, making it easy to feel at home right away. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, and the common areas were perfect for both unwinding and meeting other travelers. The staff were friendly and helpful, always happy to offer recommendations and make sure everything ran smoothly. The location was also a big plus—convenient, accessible, and close to great food and local spots, which made exploring Houston easy and fun. Overall, Wanderstay Houston was a fantastic place to stay. It offered great vibes, comfort, and value, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the city. I’d gladly stay here again on my next trip.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had such a great stay at Wander Stay! My room was spotless, the kitchen area was super clean, and the whole place had really good vibes. The staff was friendly, helpful, and answered all of my questions with no problem. I loved how beautiful and cozy the room was, and the smart TVs were a huge bonus I got to play my favorite music on YouTube while getting ready! Another big plus is that the hotel is pet-friendly, which I appreciate so much. I’ll definitely be coming back for a staycation. Highly recommend!
