Gen is so great at what she does! I booked a 1:1 makeup lesson with her for 1.5 hours. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel at ease. She was patient and made sure I was comfortable with each step as we went through the lesson. She had so many helpful tips and tricks to share. Before the lesson, she used the information I provided to plan our time together, ensuring that we were able to achieve the goals I had set. After the lesson, she provided links to all of the products that she recommended and answered all of my follow-up questions. I would gladly see her again for another lesson or to have her apply my makeup for a special event. Would recommend without hesitation!

Gen is absolutely amazing! From the first consultation to my wedding day, working with her was effortless. She really takes the time to understand your preferences and comfort level — which meant a lot to me since I don’t wear much makeup and wasn’t sure what would suit me best. Her recommendations were perfect! My makeup looked flawless, felt lightweight, and lasted all day and night — it still looked incredible at 2 a.m. when I finally washed it off. Plus, her website makes everything so easy — from browsing her portfolio to booking and finding all the details you need. I can’t recommend Waring Makeup enough for any bride or special occasion!
OMGOSH what a spectacular experience 😍 We had a last photoshoot which as booked with a very, very short turnaround between booking and the shoot so my makeup artistry request was also very last minute! And Genn made it work! She arrived exactly when she said she would. Her choices were excellent for colour, and I felt confident going to the photoshoot. The shoot was nearly 3 hours and the makeup was perfect from start to finish. This is a selfie of my husband and I are full 8 hours after application, enjoying a celebratory dinner after a successful day.
