I want to say that everything was perfect, however, people will not take me seriously. So, let me say that there was no wait, to get a table or for the food. The staff was very friendly and attentive to every potential want or need. The drinks were perfectly balanced between spirits and flavour. The food was very tasty. I don’t know if I have ever had sides that were so well matched to the entree??? And my duck was… “perfect”! Moist with a very nice crispy skin. Forgive me, but I needed to pick up the leg and chew off every little bit of that fantastic meat! The crab cakes were very tasty and creamy. Oh and the view! I could not figure out why they weren’t more busy!!!
What a delightful evening out for my husbands birthday. We sat at the bar and was taken care of by Juliette. She was very attentive and very easy to chat with. Full of suggestions and she really knew her job. The place was nice. Atmosphere and cleanliness was great. Juliette made our drinks perfectly. The shrimp tacos were the best we have ever had. Had the charcuterie board and it was delicious 😋. Thanks. If we r ever in the area again we will be back.
I recently hosted an event here and used the downstairs private area. I had about 100 people at my event and the space they had for us to use was perfect. Our space extended down by the water as well which is where I set up my Photo Booth. The servers we had were very attentive making sure the food was stocked, area clean and everyone had their drinks. The manager was there when I was setting up to go over everything with me and she came back mid event to check on us even though it was her night off. I will say compared to other local venues that I use often, the price per food item and drink were much more than we are used to paying. The food was delicious and presentation great, but definitely hard to stay within a budget for a non profit especially, with the costs of the food the way it is. The only other thing I would mention is the restaurant needs to update their portal because it is outdated and difficult to communicate. It seems to always have issues. In the beginning stages while planning, I kept having to call to make sure that my event was even happening because the portal would not communicate my messages. I am used to managers calling me to check in and verify details, not the other way around. So that was the only inconvenience on me being busy, was constantly having to follow up. Overall everyone had a great time and it was a nice event.
The atmosphere and view at the Waterfront was out of this world! Gorgeous views of the water and everyone working there went out of their way to ensure we were having the best time. The Thai shrimp appetizer was phenomenal!! The duck entree was perfect with crispy skin and great flavor. The scallops in the pasta were wonderfully cooked and tender. The crème brûlée was also fantastic. Don't miss out on their wonderful drink menu either!
Dillon took great care of us. He had great recommendations that we will try the next time we are in the area. We informed him that we are splitting what we order and the kitchen took care of split plating for us. The Geisha drink: WOW I want another one just thinking about it. This tastes just like a beautiful flower smells. I highly recommend. Not too sweet is a bonus. Waterfront cooler: i feel like anything with St Germain in it will be delicious. Very refreshing drink. Pink Flamingo: this one surprisingly tasted like Christmas to us. Its not too sweet as well. It was good, I just would opt to try a different option rather than reordering. Moroccan Cigars: very unique appetizer. We would try this one again but we must try the Steamed Clams or Mussles next time. The table behind us ordered this and it looked interesting. It was also highly recommended by Dillon. Lobster Bisque: I did like that there were large lobster pieces in this. However, it seemed almost as if it was a tomato soup. We have had a better Bisque in Fort Meyers. Caribbean Snapper- very light and settle. My husband and I enjoy a snapper. My husband would order this again. Whereas I would not. I prefer robust flavors and seasonings. He prefers settle seasonings. The ambiance is absolutely amazing here. We stayed until sunset. It did not get loud in this restaurant at all. A Wednesday night, so it was not too busy or crowded. A Riverwalk pathway is right behind the restaurant. Very upkept, clean, well lit, and safe. I highly suggest to walk it both ways after your dinner. A beautiful touch to a wonderful date night.
