The first few times I was at Waterview Lofts were for corporate events. However, I finally got to experience (and photograph) a wedding here and I now understand what all of the rave is about. The location, the lighting, the views, and the patio...it is the perfect venue if you are looking for a unique experience. Guests loved hanging outside during cocktail hour and enjoying the fresh air and scenery. When it came time to dance, the atmosphere was perfect for a little bit of "choose your own adventure": enjoy the music pouring outdoors or join in the fun inside. Overall, the day went flawlessly. I hope to be back soon!

Beautiful location. Attended a wedding reception here. Beautiful view, event venue very clean and welcoming. Outdoor patio along the Riverfront with Canada across the Detroit River. Excellent views of the Renaissance center. Loft has a outdoor balcony and dining area and downstairs a dancefloor and the patio next to Riverwalk. They do have an elevator and ADA compliant. Cannot say enough good things about the location and layout..

My husband and I were married here in September 2023 and I would do it again exactly the same! We live in Maryland, so it was important to us that our venue would be able to handle everything - and Lizzie did just that. Anything I could think of, Waterview and their vendor partners made it happen and made it easy. They've also thought of all the things you never imagined would be game-changers, like Chloe, our wedding party's personal "shadow" during the entire event, who made sure we always had our preferred drinks and tasted all the foods! (Chloe was our hero!!) We had about 90 people attend and there wasn't a single hitch in the night. We were told by many guests that the food was phenomenal (the tenderloin was gone!), the cake was moist and delicious, everyone was full, and there was too much food to try it all. We heard, "This isn't a wedding, this is an experience," and I think that sums it up well.

Adel, the coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She guided the couple through every step of the planning process, taking care of every detail, no matter how small. Her expertise and professionalism, to treat me, a vendor, as part of her team helped make the entire experience absolutely seamless. The location of Waterview Loft is truly breathtaking, with its waterfront view of the Detroit River and easy accessibility to the city and hotels. There are so very many photo opportunities available here, and really CLOSE to here, it’s an amazing place to photograph a wedding! If you're looking for a venue that offers the full package, I highly recommend Waterview Loft. As a photographer, I've seen my fair share of venues, but Waterview Loft truly stands out. The attention to detail, exceptional coordination, and stunning location make it the perfect choice for an unforgettable wedding.

I was there for a black tie optional wedding and what a wonderful place, food and service. The wedding was on the 1st floor in an industrial looking high ceiling room with windows overlooking the river walk and the Detroit River. The reception was upstairs in a room with windows overlooking river and Canada. Plated meal that didn't miss a beat except too little dressing on the salad. Dancing was back downstairs along with the cake. I even talked them into a take home container since the food was a regular restaurant serving. Hope more friends get married here.
