Diane is amazing!!! She makes you feel so comfortable and safe throughout the entire experience and she has a great memory, she remembered me after only one appointment! I brought my fiancé to our second appointment for him to see what the process looks like (after verifying & making sure that its okay that I bring him during our first appointment) and she was amazing at explaining everything and making us comfortable. She’s such an amazing human being and I’m so glad I get the chance to be one of her clients! I would definitely recommend this business to anyone that is interested or has questions about waxing. Thank you guys so much, 10/10 experience every time!

my experience here was not ok. they use a hard and soft wax method. they start with hard wax and for “clean up” they switch to soft wax. I guess unless stated otherwise that’s their preferred technique for all clientele. And if you are getting a butt strip, they literally put the wax over your butthole and rip it off. This is the only wax spot I have been to that does that. I contracted TWO abcess/boils in my perianal area after getting waxed here. Both infected with e. Coli and klebsiella pneumoniae. When I spoke with Angelica, after I told her the type of bacteria I contracted (which is a very resistant bacteria commonly found in UTIs), she advised me that she has gotten notified from other clients who have gotten UTI’s after getting waxed here. She made it sound like it’s common and normal since our bodies can “reject” some waxes. Ladies, it’s not common or normal to contract a UTI or any infection after getting waxed if proper and safe sanitary practices are used. Angelica kept referring to me as “girl” the entire phone call which I found to be extremely unprofessional. She offered a complimentary wax if I ever heal from this infection. I respectfully declined as I will never step foot in this establishment again. Also to preface, I didn’t have a UTI prior to getting waxed here, I have never in my 10 years of getting waxed have contracted infections or am prone to boils/abcess. Not even ingrown hairs. This was my experience here, your experience could be different. Posting the review so others can be aware.

I recently moved to Houston and was looking for a trusted service to hopefully become my go to place for my waxing needs. I will be looking no further! The Wax Spot checked every box. The staff, who are all sisters, are extremely hospitable, so sweet. I got a Brazilian done and in no exaggeration, it was not painful at all and I hadn’t waxed in 3 months. Christie did such an amazing job and made the process very comfortable. The place is also very sanitary, she changed sticks and strips very frequently during the service. She also made sure to follow up and ask if I was happy with everything and took the time to go back when I expressed minimal critiques. Definitely check them out. Ladies thank you for taking care of me and I will be sure to see you again soon!

I had an incredible experience! Angelica was absolutely amazing—so sweet, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable from start to finish. The results were perfect, and the prices are very affordable. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending her to everyone!
