New Mexico Wedding Collective is a joy of a resource! Shauna Pointer and her team have created a professional and elegant collective of services available in New Mexico for your big day. Their events and resources are top notch! They produce a highly professional and stylized magazine booklet that feels like a fun fantasy to flip through in making selections. It is easy to read, has beautiful photography, and most impressive – it’s free! (Bridal magazines and resource guides continue to go up in price.) I kept the portable magazine in my wedding planning bag as my go-to resource. We were especially excited about the charcuterie board options for receptions – a lot of variety to choose from! My previous career was actually in fashion design and marketing, and I still do graphic design work on the side, so I have to say that the magazine is very well-designed and easy to use. One of the things that sets them apart is that they care about serving the community and being a leading source of support for both wedding parties and vendors. They champion the vendors they promote and maintain lasting relationships. They also care about knowing what your experience is with vendors. I actually reached out to Shauna to let her know of a resource to never allow at a New Mexico Wedding Collective event because they were predatory and another wedding expo in Albuquerque. They care about maintaining quality events.

The Wedding Collective is ingenious- it’s small, fits in your purse and it stuffed full with everything you need to plan a beautiful, once in a lifetime wedding. I found so many unique ideas thumbing through the pictures in the book. From contacts and pics of venues, flowers, table arrangements, dresses, and cakes that were very useful for me. The ideas on the boutonnières allowed me to create the groomsman unique and memorable souvenirs to take home. Thank you for a wonderful reference book!
