Fun experience in the barrel bus. You don't know the breweries until it starts but Revolution Brewery was excellent!
Took an awesome ride through the downtown area, made our way to Hyde Park and got to see where the world's fair was held and a great educational experience about the Devil in the White City. Eric was an awesome tour guide and recommend checking this out! If you are planning to go-check out the book first!
Despite freezing temperatures, we had a fantastic time. Our tour guide was energetic, exciting, and passionate. Having grown up in Chicago, it was fun to learn new things about my city. One of the best parts was how Eric got the audience involved reenacting events. The tour stopped at the Congress Hotel with some ghost stories.
Our tour guide was absolutely amazing!! She was very fun and informative!! We stopped at multiple locations, got out to look around and take pictures! The husband and I had a great time!!
Everything I expected from a tour with the name "Weird" in their title. The tour had ghost stories, true stories, made-up stories (which Tour Guide Kevin later admitted was just him kidding around), and even a heartwarming story. You will be getting out of the bus and standing outside for a few minutes at each stop on the tour so dress for the weather. There is 1 restroom stop during the tour. Use the restroom at McDonald's (where they pick you up) before the tour. * Some people on the review section are whining about the tour... What did they EXPECT from a "Weird" tour? C'mon, people! Get it together! LOL!!
