Transients loitering in and around the restaurant but its a fast food spot IN the city. Idk if its just Wendy's customer service or the guy that works there but the cashier is super attentive and friendly. Working in a fast food restraunt he was extra patient when I went to order and changed my mind several times (annoying, I know!). I only go for the frostys, First time going in the 30+ years I've lived in la and from someone who loves cold treats, I'm addicted. I get the chicken sandwich if I'm hungry. The burgers fell a little flat for me.
My mums coffee taste coffee my sadly cold and when I gave it back they replaced it hot but the taste no coffee taste no more morels watered sad I won’t come back horrible branch
I stopped by the Wendy’s on 1301 N Vermont Blvd in Los Angeles, and this location honestly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, everything felt clean, organized, and welcoming. The staff was friendly, attentive, and moved fast even though they were handling a steady flow of customers. One thing I really appreciate about this Wendy’s is how consistent the food quality is. I came in during one of their specials, and the deals they offer make the visit absolutely worth it. The 2 for $8 meal deals, the Biggie Bag options, and their seasonal specials always feel fresh and satisfying. I grabbed a Biggie Bag, and everything came out hot — the fries were crispy, the nuggets were perfect, and the burger tasted freshly made and not rushed. Their strawberry lemonade is a must-try, especially on a warm LA day. The scenery around this location is surprisingly nice too. It’s right in the heart of Vermont Blvd, with a mix of city energy and local neighborhood vibes. If you sit by the windows, you get a clear view of the boulevard and the foot traffic, which gives it a lively and authentic Los Angeles feel. It’s a great spot to take a quick break, eat your meal, and people-watch. The dining area itself is well-lit and feels more spacious compared to other fast-food spots in the area. Overall, this Wendy’s is a reliable go-to for good food, great specials, and a comfortable place to eat. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or stopping by during a lunch break, this location delivers every time. Highly recommend! I was able to get a bundle of 2 burgers and fries to eat. Wasn’t a bad choice of food to choose from. The location itself is a major plus. Vermont Blvd has a unique blend of city movement and neighborhood charm, and this Wendy’s sits in a spot where you can really take in the local scenery. Whether my tour groups eat inside or take their meals to-go, they enjoy the view of the boulevard, the energy of the area, and the accessibility to nearby attractions. The dining room is clean, spacious, and comfortable — which is important when managing groups of different ages and backgrounds. Another thing I appreciate as a guide is the staff. They’re patient, efficient, and handle large orders better than most fast-food spots I’ve visited. Even when we come in with a group of 10–15 people, the team gets everything prepared correctly and quickly, and they do it with a positive attitude. Overall, this Wendy’s has become a reliable stop on my LA routes. It’s affordable, convenient, and offers a nice break for anyone exploring the city. If you’re visiting Los Angeles or guiding others through it like I do, this location is definitely worth adding to your list. stumbled into the Wendy’s on 1301 N Vermont Blvd almost by accident, but I’m glad I did because this spot feels like a hidden little break in the middle of Los Angeles. The moment you walk in, you can tell this location is run with pride — clean floors, tidy tables, and an easygoing atmosphere that makes you want to sit down instead of rush out with your food. I came during one of their daily specials, and Wendy’s really doesn’t disappoint when it comes to value. I ended up getting one of the Biggie Bag meals, and everything tasted like it was made fresh. The burger had that soft bun and juicy bite that hits just right, the fries were hot and crispy, and the nuggets had actual flavor and crunch — not the soggy kind you sometimes get elsewhere. Their lemonades are honestly elite; the strawberry lemonade in particular tastes like summer in a cup. What makes this location stand out is the scenery and the vibe around it. Right off Vermont Blvd, you get this cool mix of LA traffic, palm trees, and neighborhood life all blending together. If you sit by the window, you get a perfect front-row seat to everyday Los Angeles — people walking by, buses sliding through the boulevard, sunlight bouncing off buildings. It’s a small moment, but it gives the place character. The staff here also deserves credit. They move fast, stay organized, and good vibes.
Ugh, I was so bummed to get home and see my order was messed up, and the large fries weren't even close to full! Whoever's reading this, seriously, double-check your order so you don't waste your money. I hate complaining, especially about food. I should've checked, but still, the staff should pay more attention to the portions, like they're serving themselves. I lost my appetite, honestly.
I went through the drive-thru at this Wendy’s and ordered a chili and a burger. While eating the burger, I found several hard, wood-like pieces that couldn’t be chewed. I stopped halfway and went back to the counter to show a male employee what I found. He didn’t speak English and responded in Spanish, saying something about the manager. After a short wait, they gave me a new burger without any explanation or apology. I left with the replacement, only to find the same hard, inedible material in the second burger. I was so disgusted I threw it away. This experience was not only disappointing but also concerning in terms of food safety. I took photos and am sharing this to warn others. I won’t be returning to this location.
