A positively shining gem in Hamilton. The aura that surrounds you as you step within is of a youthful spirit, and yet full to bursting with wisdom, knowledge, and a basement likewise with innumerable flights of fantasy. You are greeted with such kindness and warmth by Lyn & John. My wife and I had just spent several hours scouring all we could, and walked away with a few hundred spent within five or so generously gifted bags--assisted by John himself as he walked a few to our car. His face in doing so aglow with glee the whole way. Such a sweet store; a cloying you won't soon forget--and must again soon satiate!

This place is a hidden gem! I emailed to ask if they had any French children's books, and they responded right away to say they did. I went in the next day and picked up about 50 books at unbeatable prices. The owners are lovely—they even took down my information in case more come in. Highly recommend this bookstore!

A nice, well organized bookstore. Prices seemed to be quite reasonable. There's a basement full of cheaper paperbacks. Great, friendly owners.

West Side Stories is an excellent book store that has quality items in it. The people who run the store are very knowledgeable and very helpful in regards to books. Pricing is fair in there. They are definitely following covid-19 guidelines and the store is very clean. It is also very organized and I had no trouble finding what I wanted in there. They also carry an interesting selection of rare books I highly recommend this store
