I decided to take my 5 year old Bichon Poo to do some re-training and bonding. I am so happy I chose "When Hounds Fly". They absolutely know their stuff and my doggie and I have learned so much! The trainers are excellent. They are professional but also funny and easy-going, which is a great atmosphere for any dogs that may be a bit nervous. I love their logic and science based approach to training dogs. It is both kind and effective. I 100% recommend When Hounds Fly!

We had a great time at When Hounds Fly (Riverdale) for the Puppy Social (under 16 weeks) lead by Elena! Our puppy took well to meeting other puppies in this safe, controlled, and well-observed environment. Elena was great with all the puppies helping to redirect when they would become scared or played too rough and gave us great tips on how to keep things playful and educational with our pooch. This was a great environment to get our apartment dog some social skills — our only complaint was that we wish we could’ve stayed longer :P We will definitely be headed back soon!

Great experience so far about 3 classes into the Puppy Start Right program. Instruction is clear, classes are well structured and informative, their modular booking system is very flexible and convenient. One of the trainers Elena has been very thoughtful and careful with how dogs interact with each other as to not have any terrifying or traumatizing experiences. Our little pup is usually the youngest and smallest but we were given very specific and helpful guidance to help her feel safe and confident around other puppies.

We've been taking our whippet puppy here for puppy socialization and beginner classes for pups 16 weeks and under. It's been great having structured classes where our pup can get his much needed socialization in, where meeting other dogs outside in the real world is a bit tough where he isn't fully vaccinated yet. The instructors have been fantastic, and the customer service was very helpful when we reached out about missing a class. Definitely highly recommend When Hounds Fly for anyone else with dogs in Toronto!

We took our puppy cockapoo here for the puppy lessons and loved them! We’ve had a puppy before and forgone with puppy lessons and let me tell you it makes such a difference. He’s picking up on everything so quickly thanks to the tools and tips the trainers have given us. We loved the puppy socials and it was nice to know that if we had questions we could use their office hours to speak with a pro! I would definitely recommend taking puppy lessons here - we went to the Riverdale location and mostly had Hu as our trainer. He was great, so helpful and informative. We will come back for foundational lessons for sure.
