My dog, Ralphie, has benefited greatly from their Reactive Dog class and now their Relationship building class. They give excellent, intuitive one on one training and also small group ( about 5-6 dogs) training with customized attention to each and many years of experience and success.

Liz came to our house to assess our dog, and she was wonderful! Our dog is extremely skittish and suspicious of strangers, but Liz has such a great vibe, our dog was actually sniffing her legs before we got out of the foyer! She taught us all kinds of things during our appointment that have already been successful with our puppy. We are definitely going to keep training with Liz.

Liz Turpin is a helpful, knowledgeable dog trainer. In two sessions so far she has given us guidance, tips, and confidence so we can manage our dog. Highly recommended!

Irina was assigned to us when we sought training for our new dog at Whole Dog. She came to our home and her low-key, calm manner quickly captivated our young dog as well as her owners! As you probably know dog trainers train the owner rather than the dog. She taught us to continue training in her absence and graduated our pup to our care after only four sessions. We highly recommend Irina to anyone who needs help controlling an exuberant young dog. M&L McG.

The Whole Dog Institute has been working with my large Bernedoodle puppy and I for a few months now to help his reactivity to other people and dogs. I could not have found a better place with better people to help! Tina has been our main trainer - she is so kind and patient with us. She also knows exactly how far to push Woodford so that he learns, but still has a very positive experience during every session. We have graduated from Woodford spending 4 hours barking and not letting new people touch him to now only a few barks followed by begging the new person to pet him. In addition to private sessions with Tina, we have also done the 6 Week Reactive Dog Class. That class exposed Woodford to many other types of dogs and stimuli. He was very nervous and barky during the first class, but by the end, was able to relax and have minimal issues when confronted with the same situations and stimuli. That class also helped to pinpoint some of the areas we needed to specifically work on after the class. Overall - I cannot recommend a more helpful place and team for any dogs needing some extra assistance to build your relationship with your them and their relationship with the world.
