Went with my son for the tiny tot lesson. Harper was absolutely wonderful. So kind and informed! My LO was too scared to ride the horse, but she worked around that and still allowed us to valuably use the time… we hope to be back when he’s a little older to try again. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is on the fence. We had zero experience with horses and everyone from the barn workers, to the other riders, to the trainers were very kind and welcoming!…the horses are also absolutely gorgeous and patient with new people!

I ride at Windmill Stables whenever my schedule allows and it’s always a great experience. I’ve had lessons with Jaycie, Lin, and Kitty and each one is fantastic in their own way. They’re patient, knowledgeable, and make every ride fun while still helping me learn something new. Even though I don’t ride on a regular schedule, booking lessons has never been a problem. The office is easy to reach and always helpful with scheduling if I can’t reach a trainer. The barn itself has such a friendly vibe and you can tell the horses are happy. Windmill is such a welcoming place to learn and enjoy time with the horses. It's my happy place!

We had such a lovely experience at the Windmill Stables! The trainer was very patient and experienced as my son was getting mentally ready after a lot of petting and walking around. Champ the pony is also very friendly and helps build a lot of confidence in him after his first pony ride. He enjoyed so much and decided to watch quite long time before we had to say goodbye. The place is very clean and organized, horses are all so pretty, bunnies too :) Highly recommended!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Windmill Stables! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the entire team. The staff at Windmill Stables truly care about their clients and the horses, creating a welcoming and supportive environment that feels like a community. Their communication skills are outstanding, keeping you informed every step of the way, whether you’re scheduling lessons, discussing progress, or simply learning more about horse care. The riding lessons are exceptional, tailored to each rider’s skill level and goals.Jaycie, Kitty, Tyler and Grace are patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about teaching. Not only do they focus on refining riding techniques, but they also emphasize the importance of horse care, giving riders a deeper appreciation and understanding of these beautiful animals. A special mention goes to Terra and Lin, whose trail rides are nothing short of magical. They lead with expertise and enthusiasm, making each ride a memorable experience filled with beautiful scenery and a sense of adventure. It is the sense of community and dedication to the well-being of both riders and horses that sets Windmill Stables apart. It’s truly an amazing place, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their riding skills or simply enjoy the rewarding experience of being around horses.

We absolutely love windmill stables! Our family is lucky to live close enough that we stop by with our kids on a weekly basis! The horses are very friendly and the staff is always welcoming. We recently took our daughter here for her birthday (they offer pony rides for youngers) and it was AMAZING! It was an hour long experience where she got to put the horses tack on and walk it to the arena and ride the horse. She was in awe, and so were we. The experience was much more than we expected. We will be spending more time here I’m sure as our daughter gets older, and we are happy to. It’s a gem.
