We walked in to Winnie's and Katherine treated us like we had an appointment set, she was awesome, patient and thoughtful. She even called the tailor to ask something specific to my brides request. We had just come from another bridal appointment and honestly it doesn't compare, the dresses at Winnies felt and looked couture.

I would not recommend shopping for your wedding dress here. I ordered my dress in May 2025 for my wedding in September 2025. I paid a fee to expedite the dress and it didn’t arrive on time. My dress not arriving on time was not the issue. I can’t recommend Winnie couture because of the unprofessionalism of the entire staff including the store manage that works out of another store. Every time I called for an update they screened my calls or completely lied and told me my dress had shipped and would still be arriving on time for my wedding date. Originally I was told that my dress was going to arrive late July or beginning of August and that would give me plenty of time for alterations. My dress ended up arriving past my wedding date and they called me to pick up the dress while I was already on my honeymoon. If they would have just been honest with me and communicated the situation instead of screening my calls I could’ve planned ahead and gone in and got a new dress from them. However, since they were all screening my calls and the manager would not call me back I decided to go elsewhere to purchase a new dress. Avoid the headache and go somewhere else. There are so many other options in Houston that carry much more variety and have much better customer service.

Worst possible experience buying a wedding dress. I ordered my dress with the recommendation that I go up a size and pay extra for the hem to hallow fitting. Having never purchased a wedding dress before, I assumed a place that sells $4,000 couture dresses would know what they were talking about but that wasn’t the case at all. The dress came back a total train wreck and a completely different neckline. It was so heinous, they offered to make corrections to the dress at their third party tailor who somehow made things WORSE. However, corporate flat out refused to talk to us so it was just a back and forth with the poor girl who wasn’t even the one who sold me the dress. Even after weeks of our professional seamstress working on the dress, I look at the pictures of my wedding and am so disappointed that this was the dress I said yes to. Don’t fall for their price tags! They certainly won’t make you feel like a blushing bride when things go wrong. Update: Winnie Couture has attempted to remove my review on a wedding website claiming it to be fraudulent. Sorry Winnie Couture, I have receipts that my experience is very real. Thanks for reminding me to check if my other reviews were still there!

I made an appointment at Winnie Couture because we would be in Houston for the weekend and I saw they had a generous healthcare worker discount for nurses (which is amazing & I haven’t seen anywhere else) Alyssa already had the 3 dresses I had emailed about pulled and ready for me! I used to work at a bridal shop and I remember I could never pull the small sample sizes over my hips, but Alyssa had the dresses pulled for me in my size, which made me feel very special and like they really listened to me. I felt so beautiful and not self conscious and having to imagine what it would look like if it fit me. I ended up picking the 3rd dress she pulled! This was my very first appointment and it was out of town so I really didn’t expect to find my dress! It was just me & my mom since we were out of town, but Alyssa and Michelle both hyped me up and made me feel beautiful just like my friends! They were so helpful in helping me find accessories too and knew exactly what looked good. I’m so happy with my experience and can’t wait to see them again when I pick up my dress! Update: I got married 12.30.2022 and my dress was an absolute dream for my bridal portraits and my wedding day! I got so many compliments. Thank you Winnie couture!

I purchased my wedding dress at Winnie Couture and I'm so glad I did. Jackie was so helpful when helping find the prefect dress. They can customize your dress, which i had so much fun mixing dresses/ caplets. My dress came in on time, but unfortunately too small. However, Jackie made sure to fix EVERYTHING... and in a timely manner. What could have been a big disaster was fixed before I could even stress. She referred me to their tailor and gave me credit to pay for the alterations. They made sure to provide extra materials for my dress and everything. So happy to be a Winnie bride!
