Such a wonderful experience from start to finish! The concierge was so kind and welcoming, and the environment was lovely, especially the Quiet Room. Such a good vibe. I’ve had lots of massages, and this was by far the best. Ryan was amazing - I will definitely be back!
I arrived at 2:15 for a 2:30 appointment. The heads up on parking was very helpful, however, I lucked out and easily got parking nearby. I love the entry to the old estate home that has been converted into a beautiful well appointed spa: inside the Tiffany windows cast prisms across the floor and walls and an extremely professional staff greeted me. I was shown the changing lounge and locked away my personal belongings and donned a luxurious soft robe and slippers perfectly sized for me to the waiting lounge where I enjoyed my to order beverage before my service. The lounge was equipped with snacks and beautiful furniture to relax peacefully before my spa treatment. Do not miss out on these features of your service — I wish I had arrived a bit earlier. My named was gently called at the time of my service and I was led down the large hallway admiring the many chandeliers and antique furniture which exquisitely decorated but did not overdo the feel of antiquity. The table was incredibly comfortable, cushioned, heated, and the linens — felt like I was floating on a silk cloud. The steamer felt so lovely on my skin — especially during these dry winter days in Colorado! Every product used smelled delicious and I could have fallen asleep several times due to the deeply relaxing gentle touch of Savanah’s hands as she worked her magic and massaged my face deeply cleaning every pore during my detox facial. I was already thinking of treating myself to more self care this year, and after comparing prices to services at comparable spas, it was a no brainer for me to decide to give my full business to this Denver Location Woodhouse Day Spa and become a club member. I look forward to exploring many different treatments and a very lovely 2026 with sweet anticipation for my future visits to my new favorite little place on Earth.
I recently spent a spa day at The Woodhouse Spa and had mixed experiences. The front desk staff if very professional and attentive. The massage with Sandy was very good; relaxing and professionally done. The facial with Paula was the standout of the day, with excellent technique and high-quality products; I left feeling refreshed and glowing. Unfortunately, the pedicure left much to be desired. The nail tech was kind and attentive, but the service didn’t meet the same standard as the other treatments. The building was out of hot water that day, which I understand; however, I noticed another customer having her water heated by the front desk staff with an electric kettle throughout her pedicure, which was disappointing given the circumstances. It would have been nice to have been informed about the hot water issue ahead of the service, I probably would have opted for a different service. The package cost was $370 plus tip, and for that price I expected a consistently excellent experience. There are definite strengths here, but consistency across services could be improved.
Shatronda was an exceptional and intuitive massage therapists. She truly listened to what I asked for and to what my body needed. The staff were gracious and helpful, even with all my questions. The Woodhouse Spa – Denver is located in the historic Merritt House (built in 1886) within the Swallow Hill National Historic District. The massage was around $200+, it felt worth it. I was short on time but would love to return for a facial. I’m visiting from Chicago and truly appreciate the wonderful service.
I traveled to Denver from Connecticut for a short weekend of respite and booked the “Digital Detox” package at Woodhouse Spa. Over the last 15 years I’ve experienced close to 350 massage therapy sessions ranging from clinical therapy, to chiropractic sessions, to international treatment and even a therapist who also treated hospice patients. The restorative sleep massage I received from Krista was by far the best massage I have experienced in recent memory. From the pressure, techniques, transitions, and professionalism— everything was far beyond my expectations. Krista is a master of her craft and I would recommend her, and the staff at Woodhouse Spa to anyone looking for quality holistic treatment. I will absolutely be returning anytime I am in town!
