When walking our puppy cockerpoo, we came accross a border collie who was 6 months old and so calm, obedient and tolerant of our reactive pup (who was petrified of other dogs). The owner told us her dog was trained by Amit at woofology, so we decided to look up woofology and make an enquiry. We had lots of information back, reassuring us that everything we described about our pup's behaviour was completely normal. We weren't sure what to expect, but when we met Amit, we relaxed immediately. Our puppy absolutely loves him and was a model student. The training helped us reinforce some basic commands we'd tried ourselves, but also helped us bond with our puppy, the whole family got involved and received feedback from Amit who helped us perfect the techniques. Amit really listens and cares about the difficulties we have faced and helps find something that works for us. As well as one to one work in the house, we've been on walks with Amit's dog Elio which has helped our puppy stop being absolutely petrified of other dogs. She no longer trembles with fear when another dog comes near. We did a group puppy class to take our puppy's learning journey to the next level, responding in more 'real life' situations with strangers and several dogs.
We cannot recommend Woofology enough. When we adopted our dog almost two years ago as a rescue from Romania, she had burns on her face, scars on the backs of her legs, and was terrified of anything that moved. She reacted to both humans and dogs no matter how much distance there was, and everyday life felt overwhelming for her — and for us. After 12 months of working with Woofology, the transformation has been incredible. She is now accepting of humans outside the house (even if she’s not quite ready for affection yet), and she has made her first dog friend — someone she can safely play with off lead and without a muzzle, purely for fun. Seeing her experience that kind of freedom and joy has been emotional for us. Woofology has guided us with so much patience, understanding, and compassion, always moving at our dog’s pace and helping us truly understand her needs. We are now starting to move into more open environments to safely meet other dogs, something we never thought would be possible at the beginning of this journey. I’ve included photos from the day she left the centre to now, and they truly show just how far she’s come. We have a 6 month old Beagle (to be confirmed- DNA test results pending) who wasn't brilliant at recall, didn't like walking on pavement and pulled on walks in the park. My husband and I just really wanted to make sure we were giving Kobi the best start in life and reinforcing positive behaviours. I researched Dog Training and came across Amit at Woofology and I am so glad that we did! From our first interaction with Amit he gave such great advice and tips. Amit is extremely knowledgeable, he put us and Kobi at ease immediately. The sessions were tailored to our exact needs and we appreciated the detailed follow up emails with step by step instructions for training. In just a few sessions the change in Kobi and our confidence in handling him has been remarkable. To see Kobi figure out what we were asking of him was amazing. I was in awe of how quickly he learnt some behaviours and the way Amit demonstrated how to reinforce positive behaviours really helped us. we tried different dog trainers, but Amit is the only one that really took the time and listened to us, he made a plan for us which we followed and his effort was amazing. Our staffy cross ridge back HATED other dogs so when we bought him a friend the first few weeks we thought we’d made a huge mistake.. after Amit helped us, they are inseparable. This was a few years ago, we’ve now have another little friend and we’re still using the techniques we were taught and it’s going amazingly!
Wife & I are sat here discussing this and we can’t find anything Amit could have improved on. Amit listened to us and what we wanted to achieve he didn’t force a standard procedure on us he tailored the training to help us achieve the goal we wanted. He was professional at all times. We’d recommend him to anyone, he’s helped us take Lloydie from pulling pain to a dog we are literally comfortable with in any location.
