What a cozy find! We discovered the canal and tow path while visiting the Canopy Market - and then we discovered Word on the Water. A sweet barge absolutely chock full of mostly used and a few used books. The bookseller was delightful and helpful. We had a quick poke around and found someone new to read - which always makes for a good day. Fabulous!

This really is such a unique bookstore and I love how it is on a boat. Of course it will be small but it has a great range of books and I find a wizard book, so that's what book i pick up plus a tote bag.

A lovely floating bookshop with a warm, cozy atmosphere. You can feel the gentle sway of the boat as you browse, which makes the experience even more special.
