It’s a cool place to check off your box if it’s in yours as it was in mine. But quite disappointing. I genuinely thought we’d get an old school coke service and an actual visit of a male shift factory, something a bit more grandiose for what Coca Cola is. It’s really just a very crowded walk through of Coke’s history and then a large room where you can try the same Coke you have from the same Freestyle machines you find literally anywhere. Honestly, I’d say save your money unless you truly want to come in which case, keep your expectations low.
The museum was very artistic and visually appealing. There were a lot of interesting props and decorations. I also learned so much interesting history about Coca-Cola. From its founders, the culture, to its relation to MLK and the civil rights movement. I was hoping to see a mention of coke’s origin using cocaine but that wasn’t mentioned. They also had a large room where you get to try unlimited drinks of coca cola from all over the world. I think that was the coolest part of the place.
The World of Coca-Cola is more of an interactive "brand experience" than a traditional museum. Located right next to the Georgia Aquarium, it’s a high-energy, colorful tribute to the world’s most famous soda. The Experience The visit is a mix of marketing history, pop culture, and sensory play. • The Vault: You get to stand in front of the actual vault containing the "secret formula." While you don't see the recipe, the high-tech security and storytelling make it feel exciting. • Milestones of Refreshment: This is for the history buffs—it’s filled with vintage vending machines, retro posters, and Norman Rockwell paintings. • Scent Discovery: A fun, interactive lab where you try to identify different ingredients by smell to see how your brain connects aroma to taste. • The Polar Bear: A must-do photo op with the giant, animatronic Coca-Cola Polar Bear. The Main Event: "Taste It!" This is the grand finale. You enter a room with dozens of self-serve fountains featuring over 100 beverages from around the world. • Global Flavors: Try everything from Sparletta Sparberry (Zimbabwe) to Inca Kola (Peru), which famously tastes like liquid bubblegum. • The "Beverly" Challenge: It is a local rite of passage to try Beverly (Italy). It is notoriously bitter, and watching your friends' faces when they first sip it is half the fun.
Amazing experience! It was so fun to taste the flavors from around the world and to even find out they own 50% of Inka Kola!!! I never knew that as a Peruvian so it was an interesting surprise. We came the weekend after Christmas so line was LONG but it moved quickly and they kept it orderly. They closed the Tickets area so people could only buy tickets online - luckily we had bought ours as a package with the aquarium tickets so we had ours already. It took us about 2.5 hours to go through it all, including a pic with the iconic bear. Coke is one of the sodas I grew up drinking so it was awesome to learn more about its history and taste more of the flavors they own.
I recently visited the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta and had an excellent experience. The museum is conveniently located in the heart of downtown, making it very easy to reach. There were no lines at the entrance, so getting in was quick and comfortable. The museum itself is beautifully designed, with thoughtful displays and a well-organized layout. I especially enjoyed the historical exhibit, which walks you through the origins of the product and the evolution of the brand over time. The collections featuring different product series and various promotional items were engaging and visually impressive. One of the highlights of the visit was the tasting room, where you can try a wide range of unique and rare flavors from around the world. It added a fun and memorable finish to the experience. Overall, the World of Coca-Cola offers an informative and enjoyable visit, and I would highly recommend it.
