Great atmosphere with the holiday decor and welcoming vibe. Unfortunately, the food and service didn’t quite match the ambiance. The edamame took about 25 minutes to arrive at the table and 10 minutes later came our main entrees. The green curry was very good. However, the tuna mango roll looked like it was made by a 5 year old. The mango chunks were large and unripe, one of the pieces barely had any filler in it. Overall, I’d stick with the thai food and prepare for a wait.

Outstanding menu of sushi, noodle and rice dishes with a nice drink menu to go with. Fun atmosphere that invites you to share an upscale lunch or weekend dinner with friends. Service was average, food was a bit disappointing because I could taste the flavor of blowtorch on my YaYa Roll and Delicious Roll. Thai Ceviche appetizer was very good. Prices were high but that's standard for sushi places these days.

The best authentic Thai street food and the best quality sushi and sashimi—everything is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The cocktails are also the best in terms of creativity, well-balanced, and perfect to pair with the food. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, making it an amazing spot whether it's date night or you're hanging out with a group of friends.

Needed a quick bite after a long day. Even though it’s in a big plaza, YaYa’s is cleverly quirky and cute inside. Love the atmosphere! Online I had seen photos of birdcage seating at the bar which are no longer there BUT they had little foot bars on the barstools which is great especially if you’re petite! Was a little frustrated with service and a lady who was being brash & vulgar but hoping it was just an off day because other reviews don’t reflect the same experience. The food itself was SO GOOD. Kept it simple with a California Roll and the Coconut Soup. Will try this place again because…wow…I could drink that soup straight from a cup!

When I am in Richmond, I try to make it here because I love their food! We ended up going on a Weds evening and it was jampacked like it was a Friday night! We had to wait 30 minutes before being seated and there were no seats at the bar. We did not mind waiting because the food is very good and the staff is very friendly! Once we were seated, our food came out very quickly as normal. Our waitress was super friendly, which I appreciated because they were jampacked. I would recommend a reservation even during the weekday.
