I’m a bit disappointed with a recent experience at this studio on Saturday, March 14. It was my first time here and I booked a Yin and Sound Yoga class that was advertised as a “meditative crystal bowl sound bath.” Based on that description, I expected a calm, immersive experience incorporating crystal singing bowls. However, when I arrived, there were no crystal bowls in sight ….only an Indian harmonium. I tried to remain open-minded and still enjoy the class but the experience did not align with what was advertised. The class environment made it difficult to achieve any level of relaxation or meditation. There was significant noise from employees outside the room, which disrupted the atmosphere. I would’ve expected a little more discernment from the outside employees, especially knowing what class is taking place. I still tried to keep an open mind I understand that on Saturdays there’s a market outside and they are trying to give good customer service but it was still very very distracting As someone new to Yin yoga, I found the class not particularly engaging. It felt like we spent most of the time simply lying down. I chose your studio based on the expectation of a specific experience, and unfortunately, it did not meet those expectations. I’m not sure about their other classes but as far as the Yin + Sound it is not what’s advertised.

Good classes, but poor communication and zero flexibility. This studio is perfect for you if you have unlimited free time, live within walking distance, and can control Tucson traffic. It is not for you if you have a "real life," a commute, or expect basic customer service. In the year I’ve attended, I’ve been turned away twice due to shifting, uncommunicated policies: • Incident 1: I was late to my second class due to a 30-minute commute. I was told there was a 5-minute grace period, but since I missed it, I was turned away. • Incident 2: After a few months away, I arrived exactly on time for a class, only to be told the policy had changed. Apparently, you must now be in the building at least one minute before class starts. There was no notice of this change during sign-up. Expecting customers to "just know" about new rules after they've already spent an hour in the car is disrespectful of their time. After wasting two hours of my life being turned away at the door, I’m done. If you value your time and want a studio that actually communicates with its members, look elsewhere.

I had a concerning experience regarding the studio's choice of atmosphere and management's response to feedback. After identifying that the music being played was by artists with ties to harmful and exclusionary groups, I reached out to the staff. Instead of addressing the safety and inclusivity of the space, management was dismissive and later removed my feedback. This lack of transparency and refusal to vet content makes the environment feel unprofessional and uninviting.
