Julia is amazing! She was such a joy to work with and made sure everything was smooth and easy for us. She captured our vision for the ceremony perfectly and her words were beautiful.
It’s hard to express in words what Julia’s presence meant to all the family and friends of my young adult daughter, who gathered together to celebrate her life after her passing. In moments like these you would think only a family member could deliver a Eulogy that could define a person so perfectly, however it’s nearly impossible to have the emotional stability to see it through. Julia sat with my partner and I, in the days leading up to the ceremony. She asked personal questions about my daughter’s achievements, her hobbies and what her relationships looked like with others. She took time to look through photos and watch home videos. She listened as we told stories about my daughter’s character in different stages of her life. Then she took all that information and put it to words. Beautiful words as if she was painting a portrait of my daughter. She spoke of someone she had never met with such an intimate tone that every guest was shocked that Julia had not been a lifelong family friend. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Beyond impressed and thankful.
I'm so glad I found out about Julia. I actually saw someone suggest her on Reddit and reached out to her about officiating our little elopement. Before speaking with her, I spoke with another officiant who a lot of people suggest in the Austin area but there was no connection, she just told me what she was going to do and how the ceremony would be without asking me what I wanted which did not vibe with me at all. Julia on the other hand really took her time to talk to me about what I wanted to do for my ceremony and she was very invested in making sure everything was ok with what she would say and how the ceremony would play out. She is very open minded and has really good suggestions as well for things you can add or different wording if you want to do something a little different than the traditional wedding vows. If you want an officiant who you can have a connection with and speaks from the heart I would 1000% suggest reaching out to Julia. Trust me you will not regret it. She really made our little ceremony special.
Julia did an amazing job as our officiant. She both helped us think of ideas for our ceremony and listened to what we knew we wanted. Several of our guests described our ceremony as “perfect.” She was professional and always responded to us in a reasonable time. We would highly recommend her to any couple.
Julia was a delight to work wit!. We had a non-religious, short ceremony, and she was able to customize it for us exactly how we wanted it. She looked professional and talked in a clear, calm manner which is important for an officiant! We are so happy we chose Julia to be our officiant for the biggest day in our lives. Would recommend to all the couples out there in the Austin area. Thinking back on our wedding day fills us with joy and we can’t thank Julia enough that she was a part of making it so perfect.
