I started with Your Personal Best Studio [YPB] in April 2024, acting on the second, third or fifth gentle nudge from a dear friend, I signed up for a 4-week challenge…on the last day! This challenge included a fitness class, meal calendar, nutritional information, a recipe book and phenomenal support … from everyone include my classmates. I started feeling positive improvements just a couple of weeks into the challenge and HAD TO continue. In the 4 months at YPB my balance has improved significantly, my ‘flesh flags’ don’t wave like they used to, my clothes fit better, I’ve lost 12 pounds, and my stamina increased dramatically [my yard looks so much better because of that!]. I am also more educated about what I eat, and while I’m far from perfect and disciplined with food, I am worlds better than I used to be, and will continue to improve! It is such a great decision to invest in yourself and YPB will show you how !!

I’ve been working out with Lisa and her coaches for four years. I don’t live in Corpus, but I can do live or recorded zoom workouts every day. The workouts are perfect for the 50+ group and the coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging, and motivating. I’ve also done several of her nutritional challenges and have learned so much about better choices with my eating. I love YPB and their sincere desire to help us stay healthy and active as we age. I have been working with YPB and Coach Michele for a year and a half and have had great results and have enjoyed my time there. While exercising and participating in the challenges, I have lost over 40 pounds while improving my strength and balance. I have learned how to eat healthy and the indigestion issues I was having are gone. Michele noticed that with my weight loss, I was losing some lean tissue, so we met several times for nutritional coaching. We adjusted my daily macros to include higher protein goal to focus on building lean tissue, while still working on my weight loss goals. During the next month my lean tissue was up while my fat tissue percentage was lower. I truly appreciate the help and encouragement I have received from all the coaches, Lisa, Juan and especially Coach Michele. They are always willing to help me adjust the workout to compensate for my ankle and foot problems. I am 70 years old and feel better than I have in years. Thank you all. Pam King
