YEP staff can let their personal personalities take over instead of staying professional. They talk about kids that are over passionate instead of teaching them to calming express themselves. They allow their student to be threatened by one another, and fails to prevent the situation from escalating. I have tried expressing to upper staff of issues that have been occurring but they fail to take accountability and made me feel degraded, really just less of myself or that I don’t have a voice. I would not recommend you send your child or self to this program. They don’t pay you much anyway working almost 70 hours out of 3 weeks before you start the job. Just to receive a gift card and possibly $500 depending on how they feel.🚩 The current youth smoke vape pens and puffs in the classroom while teachers constantly sit on their phone or walk out because they poorly prepared the class. If you check the reviews these are problems that have been occurring. Stay safe
My experience at YEP was incredibly disappointing due to the unprofessional behavior of the staff. I hope the management takes steps to address these issues, as the current level of service is far below acceptable standards. I would not recommend YEP based on this experience.
I am highly disappointed with the service received from this organization. The staff is unprofessional, rude, and lacks the ability to properly lead our youth by setting a positive example. My daughter who is 15 and I her mother had to fight with these people for her to be paid for the work she did . When I asked valid questions I was very rudely addressed, talked over, and treated as if I were a child .Steer clear of this place . Our youth deserve to receive the proper guidance and mentorship in an effort to help them succeed and excel. Don’t put your children through the stress and uncertainty of not being paid for work , or treated with respect and dignity . Jamba Juice Target Baskin Robins are a few other options for our youth
We had a bad experience working with this group this year. The associate never showed up. YEP called to check in, scheduled a meeting then they never showed up! Unreliable and unorganized
