I’ve been purchasing from Yummy for years, but unfortunately, the quality doesn’t feel the same anymore. My last purchase was the Lao hair, which I loved, and I understood the wefts were thinner due to the finer texture. This time, I went back to the regular Cambodian hair expecting the thicker wefts I’ve consistently received in the past. However, the wefts were noticeably thinner, actually THINNER THAN THE LAO, and much shorter, about arm-length. This was disappointing, especially since I’ve purchased the Cambodian hair multiple times before and know what to expect. An employee mentioned that the change could be due to a different vendor, but maintaining the same pricing while changing vendors and quality is concerning. Sadly, this will likely be my last purchase with Yummy. I hope the company takes this feedback into consideration and works toward improving consistency and quality.

The news needs to expose this company because they are a COMPLETE RIP OFF 🤬 and don’t y’all even comment asking anyone to follow up with y’all because y’all customer service doesn’t care to help and the screenshots going up on TikTok will prove that. My client received garbage from this company. This is some beauty supply store hair packaged in a pretty box. Not only is the shedding outrageously abnormal, but the bundles I tried to install on my client doesn’t seem to be able to take a flat iron without producing a burning plastic smell. I’m pissed because I recommended this brand and unfortunately, my client got screwed over. I don’t believe in the bad batch bs because there’s other complaints. I told my client to reach out to the company and they really tried it with the excuses. Start tagging blogs and news outlets with your complaints ladies!

🚨 Warning: Not Genuine Raw Hair 🚨 I do not recommend purchasing from this company. Based on numerous experiences reported from others, raw hair is being advertised, but synthetic mix is being sold. Customer service is a waste of time and the comments on here from the “client experience team” are only for show. How about resolving your consumer complaints in the first place and not coming on here asking for us to “follow up” with you now that it’s public? Better yet, go through your support emails and reach back out to the numerous consumers you denied resolution. If ANYONE has been affected by this company, report to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), or Texas Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. Reporting helps hold companies accountable, prevents others from being misled, and supports investigations into deceptive practices.

Background: I made a purchase for raw hair bundles from this company and received what was confirmed to be a synthetic mix. You can easily check for this by having a certified hair vendor evaluate the product. I reached out to customer service and reported the issue, shared images and requested a direct solution. Customer service attempted to shift blame and minimize my experience, stating that “experiences can vary” and offered to replace only ONE bundle. I informed them that ONE bundle does not satisfy my entire order of unusable hair, but was hit with “this is your final offer” verbiage. Once I responded with facts and made them aware I knew about consumer protection laws, they stopped responding. If your raw hair turned into a matted, tangled and unmanageable mess, and you tried to reach out to customer service with no support in return, file a complaint. You can submit a general complaint form for complaints about false, misleading, or deceptive business practices. Based on the public reviews, I can see my incident isn’t an isolated one. Please submit a complaint about this Yummy Extensions regarding your defective products by visiting the The Office of the Texas Attorney General (OAG).

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Yummy Hair Extensions. This is honestly the worst hair I have ever purchased. I spent a significant amount of money expecting high-quality hair, but within just two days the hair became very dry, tangled, and nappy. It was completely unmanageable and did not perform anything like the quality that was promised. What makes this even more frustrating is that I followed all of the care instructions provided, so this was not due to improper maintenance. For the price they charge, the quality is unacceptable and does not match the claims of long-lasting, premium hair. I also reached out to the company before leaving this review to give them an opportunity to resolve the issue, but they were not helpful at all and did not provide a meaningful solution. Poor product quality combined with poor customer service is very disappointing. Please save your time and money and shop elsewhere. This experience was not worth it at all.
