my fiancé bought my engagement ring 10/20/2025. proposed to me 11/07/2025. fast forward a few months.. 04/28/2026 it snapped in half and fell off my finger. not even 6 months later. I never shower in it, apply lotion, sleep or even wash my hands with it on! we are so sad! we met with a few jewelers in our local SMALL town who offered to do more than the Zales store! and forget talking to customer service online. you’re better off talking to a brick wall. the ring itself is beautiful, but poorly made. we’ve been told by the few jewelers that we’ve talked to that it’s a “casting error” !!! it was poorly and cheaply made which makes us SICK because it was not cheap to purchase! we were told that the ring should have never been designed that way. do yourself a favor and DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ZALES! if you can, shop and support your local jewelers!

I really wish I could give this zero out of five stars. Me and my fiancé have had an absolute horrible experience with zales. I proposed 6 months ago, therefore the ring has been very gently worn for 6 months. My fiancé would always baby this thing, take it off while washing hands the whole 9 yards. This so called “platinum” ring snapped in literally two pieces and zales will not do a single thing about it. I’ve talked to multiple professional jewelers saying this is an error on the casting of this ring. It was a production error. You can tell it is because of the rugged break on both ends. Zales will not honor a single thing. No help at all. Definitely will never do business with zales again. I highly recommend you go to your local jewelers instead. They won’t even offer to help fix it or a discount on replacing it.
