I’ve been coming here about 10 months and it’s really grown my love for yoga and practicing. Most of the teachers are so welcoming and provide great instruction. However, I do notice as a woman of color a clear difference in how I’m greeted by certain workers (if at all). And this past Sunday during 75 minute Hot Yoga, cold towels were giving out to the class but somehow, I was the only one in class who didn’t receive one. The people to the right and left of me did, so I’m unsure how I was missed and this isn’t the first time it’s happened. It’s not many hot yoga studios in the area, and overall I do enjoy my experiences, but I will be ending my membership this month.

I absolutely love Zen Hot Yoga in Virginia Beach! I practiced there for two years before moving away, and I miss it so much. The instructors are calming, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. Their class schedule was perfect for my lifestyle, and I always found a time that worked for me. I got in the best shape of my life, and my aches and pains virtually disappeared. Hands down, the best yoga studio I’ve ever been to!

I have been practicing here for many years and can’t say enough good things. It’s a very welcoming environment, with excellent experienced teachers and friendly fellow yogis. They offer a good variety of classes to cater to all ability levels and continue to provide challenges to experienced practitioners.

I have been a long time member of zen hot yoga. On and off through the years. The annual membership is worth it. Each time I return, everyone, staff and fellow yogis, welcome me with so much warmth, it feels like home. There’s something for every one. There’s a variety of instructors and classes to choose from. I highly recommend it. After work today, I took Jade’s Friday hot vinyasa class and all the stress and tension which built up all week just melted away. Thank you, Zen hot yoga staff for making this my happy place.

I’m in awe of this studio. I had major depression and was advised to hit up the nearest yoga studio asap. Finding Zen Hot Yoga has seriously changed my life. I can’t do without it now. When I walk in I’m always greeted warmly and the manager is kind and hilarious! Each teacher provides a unique experience which makes it even more exciting. I’ve not only lost pounds, but my mind is clear and feel strong from within. This is my new normal and I absolutely love it. Thanks Zen Hot Yoga 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
