I found Zoe when looking up videos on YouTube about weddings at the SF City Hall. She has so many videos with so many answers to your questions. She's so informed and has so much information to help navigate your big day. We fell in love with Zoe's work on her website and Instagram. Booking her was super easy and her turnaround is very fast. I appreciate the transparency about her pricing. Zoe went above and beyond before it was our wedding day. Great communication the whole time. I never felt like I was bothering her or asking dumb questions. She always responded with answers to every question not just 1 out of 5. We captured so many beautiful memories on our wedding day and I am forever thankful to Zoe. A wedding is something you invest so much into and having someone like Zoe who knows what they're doing is priceless. She's taking a lot of pictures but it never feels overwhelming. Our session always felt effortless and smooth. She captured so many moments and has such great eye. Lots of places to photograph and her different camera lenses were so fun to see in our gallery. She doesn't make you feel awkward, it feels like a friend. Conversations flow and you share a couple laughs and smiles. We fell in love with our sneak peek and couldn't imagine what else she would have in store for our final gallery. The remainder of our photos were just so perfect! So many little things captured in such a perfect way. It felt like she was everywhere capturing everything by herself!! Zoe is worth the investment in every way. Such a beautiful soul and an amazing photographer. I would love to work with her in the future to capture other memories.

If you are planning a San Francisco City Hall wedding, look no further than Zoe. I first discovered her while researching City Hall weddings on YouTube. Her videos were so packed with useful, insider information that I knew she was the expert we needed. After browsing her gorgeous portfolio, it was an easy decision to book her. We were looking for someone with deep experience at City Hall and top-tier organizational skills. Zoe exceeded our expectations on both fronts. Because my husband and I needed photography coverage across two different days, Zoe went above and beyond to create a custom, cost-effective arrangement. She paired herself for the ceremony and lunch and then with her talented associate for our "getting ready" photos and reception two days later. She provided multiple options that made it easy to stay within our budget while ensuring total continuity. As an anxious person, I cannot stress enough how much I appreciated Zoe’s communication. She was always one step ahead of the process, which put me completely at ease. Our "first look" went flawlessly thanks to her direction. She knows the layout and lighting of City Hall so intimately that everything felt seamless and stress-free. The finished photos are absolutely stunning. Zoe and her associate managed to make our wedding look like an extraordinarily polished, high-end occasion. We are having the hardest time picking favorites because there are just so many incredible shots! If you want a photographer who is professional, proactive, and a true master of her craft, book Zoe. I cannot recommend her enough!

We met Zoe when she photographed a dear friend of mines wedding at City Hall in 2023, who found her on her instagram. We adored the photos she took and after my friend effusively praised her blog and how helpful she was organizing a city hall wedding, we knew hiring her was a wedding non-negotiable for us! We had a 60 person wedding on a Friday at City Hall, followed by a 3 hour reception at our local wine bar, Woods Lowside. We knew we wanted photos that felt intimate and candid, with few traditionally posed photos, and that we wanted them to feel like art; something that looked beautiful and felt framed in love and community. Zoe accomplished this better than we could have dreamed. Through out my wedding planning, every question i googled led me back to Zoes blog. What balcony to choose for the time of year? She had a post. How can i include my dog? Her blog details both the rules and her suggestions from the hundreds of weddings she has photographed. How to pose? Thank god, she has a detailed guide and asks you if you have a preferred side! With Zoes helpful input on our schedule and the questions she asked to help us figure out what was important for us, and the help of our dear friends, I entered my wedding day stress free, and schedule perfectly timed. I normally feel so awkward and unphotogenic, but with Zoe behind the camera and my husband with me, it never crossed my mind. She was fun, with gentle suggestions and a watchful eye. The rotunda was closed on our wedding day, which threw off her normal schedule but freed us up for the candid, artistic photography we wanted. We spent an hour running around city hall, chasing light and shadows, hitting all of our photo must-haves and developing new ones on the way. She was so patient with our little senior dog and captured photos of him we will treasure. I have never felt more beautiful than i did behind her lens, and the anxiety about how i would look never crossed my mind. I would love to share some of the reviews from our friends and I viewing the photos: “ The color scheme is absolutely popping off in these photos” “Who was your photographer?? Ive never seen myself like this. I love it” “The framing on these shots are so cool” “These are incredible” & “These are so sweet” “You need to send this into vogue. They need to see it.” & “im going to print this out and physically mail this photo to GQ” “Even though there were 60 people there, these give elopement energy. The photos so loving and intimate.” “These belong in a Wes Anderson movie” Thank you so much, they are everything we could have hoped for! Our favorites album was 560 photos and i have no idea how we will ever narrow it down! Zoe captured the day in a way that feels intimate, dramatic (especially the film!), fun and so perfectly genuine. We can’t thank her enough!

Zoe was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. I cannot thank her enough for her professionalism, expertise, and her full-spectrum knowledge on all things City Hall. I literally had two weeks to plan the entire thing and the only thing I regret is not finding her sooner! She was my wedding fairy godmother I never knew I needed- she had so many amazing recs for other important people like hair and makeup artists and florists in the area (I pursued both of her recs- Tiffany Purdy and Wallflower). She knew exactly what time to arrive, where the “golden opportunity” areas of the City Hall were and coached us through the quiet chaos of the morning. She is the BEST PERSON TO PICK AS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER if you’re looking to marry at SF City Hall! Thank you Zoe!!!

If you are getting married at San Francisco City Hall and you are thinking about booking Zoe – stop thinking and book her already. She is an absolute gem who will guide you through your day with grace and ease and will leave you with the most beautifully captured memories. I stumbled across one of Zoe’s helpful YouTube videos when researching eloping at San Francisco City Hall. Hiring a professional photographer was not in our original plan for our elopement, but Zoe’s YouTube video was so helpful with my questions that I followed it up with a deep dive on her website and blog. I fell in love with her photography and her whole vibe. Her photojournalistic approach spoke to me in how it captured the emotions of her couples and their wedding days. And I was able to see immediately that Zoe would bring so much to the experience – she was organized and informative, had a wealth of first-hand knowledge about the venue, and she had such an inclusive and welcoming aura. After reading more of Zoe’s blog posts and reviewing portfolios and pricing from a few other photographers, I felt confident that Zoe was not only competitively priced, but the best fit for us. I loved the pre-wedding process with Zoe. She sent over a full range of personalized vendor recommendations, gave us our schedule for the day so we could plan appropriately, and sent a collaborative document for us to start thinking about what moments were important for us to capture. She was quick to respond to questions we sent over, and she was very flexible and supportive as we waffled on key decisions. Our wedding day was an absolute dream. During our session, Zoe led us around the gorgeous but crowded City Hall with ease – she knew all the quieter nooks and corners to find private moments for us. She knew where and how to play with the fickle light of City Hall. And when it came to the grand, classic shots that everyone wants – Zoe had a great eye for when to swoop in or politely assert our turn. As a result, we could just have fun cavorting through the grand building reveling in each other and our special day. I also loved that Zoe gladly served as our witness. It freed us of the responsibilities that come with inviting family and friends and allowed us to be fully present for each other. I do vaguely remember that City Hall was indeed busy as I had been warned and knew to expect: I seem to recall seeing at least half a dozen young women dressed for their quinceañera portraits and several other wedding couples. Despite the crowds, the day felt incredibly intimate, thanks no doubt to Zoe knowing exactly where to lead us throughout the day. And the final photos confirm that sense of intimacy. I don’t how much of it is Zoe knowing where to position us to keep people out of shots, or timing her shots just right, or hours of perfect photoshopping (probably an incredible combination of all three), but the photographs completely capture that feeling that we were in our own private world that day. After the session was over, Zoe continued to go above and beyond. She delivered our Sneak Peek photographs a mere 4 days after our wedding with twice as many photos as promised. Mind you this was in peak wedding season and with 3 of those 4 days being a holiday + weekend. Then a week earlier than promised, the full album arrived in our emails, and we were blown away again. So many gorgeous photos full of joy and the small (and big) moments of the day. We will cherish them forever. I cannot reiterate enough how thankful we are that we chose Zoe to capture our elopement. Given the small, intimate nature of our wedding, Zoe’s photography made up about half of our total wedding budget, and every penny of that was perfectly spent. Zoe delivered so much value and captured so much joy. She is a consummate professional, and just a good person who is fun to be around. I cannot imagine our wedding day without her.
