Their selection is amazing, so I can find my favorites and they almost always have recommendations from other people. They are also linked nicely to their website too, so you can check online and see if they have exactly what you want and where it is in the store. If you can't find it, ask an employee. They are always helpful.

I’m honestly really disappointed and concerned about what happened here. My wife and I bought a sealed package of salami from this Total Wine location. It looked completely normal from the outside. We ate about 6–7 pieces before pulling the slices apart and discovering foreign objects embedded between the meat. These were dark, solid pieces that clearly do not belong in any food product. Shortly after eating it, both of us got nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. This wasn’t a minor stomach ache — it hit both of us fast and was honestly pretty scary knowing we had already eaten several pieces before noticing the contamination. I called the store to report it, and the manager’s response was basically, “I can give you a refund” and “What do you want me to do?” after I explained how serious and dangerous this is. A refund doesn’t fix the fact that contaminated sealed food was sold and made two people sick. I wasn’t looking for money — I wanted someone in charge to treat this like the real safety issue it is. I’ve reported this to the FDA, California Department of Public Health, and San Diego County Environmental Health because foreign objects inside a sealed product is not something I can just overlook. I hope corporate takes this seriously, because the way the store handled it was extremely dismissive.

The Manager and cashier were rude I came in trying to make my own purchase on my 21st I had my ID on me but they denied me my purchase because my mom didn't have her physical ID she had a picture of her ID on her phone but the manager specifically a redhead manager with glasses and a cashier with blonde hair said that wouldn't work. Good job round of applause for the employee protecting absolutely nothing protecting a company that would replace both of them real quick if they wanted to and to the manager maybe work on knowing the laws of California you're a manager and don't know easy California laws I was making the purchase not my mom.

Hands down the cleanest, most stocked, most gorgeous Total Wine & More I’ve ever been to—and that’s saying a lot considering I’ve even attended pre-grand openings before they were open to the public. This San Diego location is in a league of its own! Everything was immaculately organized, the layout made browsing a dream, and the staff? So friendly and genuinely helpful. I’m heavy on the RTDs (ready-to-drink cocktails) and seeing cold options right by the registers? Genius. I’ve never seen that at any other Total Wine—and trust me, I’ve been to many up and down the California coast. Truly a 10/10 experience. Love it here! Can’t recommend this location enough.

This store is Amazing. I've never seen such a wide selection of alcoholic beverages in one store. It's more like a huge warehouse. Oh, also you can walk into their refrigerator department that has only Cigars of every kind from around the World.
